I have been trying to figure out a solution for keeping my yoga mat clean along with covering the dirt that's already on my yoga mat. I'm a mostly novice when it comes to yoga and I didn't even know these yoga mat towel/covers existed and was so excited to order this towel. It arrived nicely packaged in a box with the mat sealed in a plastic packaging to keep it folded and clean. The aqua color is cute (and less likely to show all the dog hair than the black one). The microfiber material is soft and absorbent as advertised. I love that it's washable. There were no strange smells and no need to air it out, which I really appreciate. One thing I notice is that I do still need to clean my mat afterwards, as there's no protective barrier on the back. Size wise, it's a standard yoga mat size: 74x24. A few things that I noticed when putting it over my yoga mat: it's a little hard to fit the corners into the towel. It doesn't fit tightly around the corners and takes several tries at adjusting the mat into each corner but never fits snugly on the corners. Width wise, it just barely is wide enough and hard to get it aligned with the sides of the mat. After using this, my wish is that it had pockets around the entire mat to keep it encased. I have a low level of concern that I could catch a side edge with a toe since it tends to go off center just a tiny bit. I'll have to be mindful of this. The towel weighs virtually nothing so it's incredibly light and does not add any weight to your mat when traveling with it. This yoga mat towel seems durable and after one wash, seems like it will last. I appreciate that Amazon releases Amazon Basic's products which are affordable and this yoga mat towel, at $15.26, is super affordable and a great value for what it is. Overall, I am happy with this towel, it meets my expectations well enough for the price, and will keep it on my yoga mat except when washing. Read more
