These black pants are my second pair. I already own the charcoal color. I love the lightweight fabric, the comfort of the stretch waistband, and, most of all, the way they come from the dryer without wrinkles. They feel great and look nice, but the other reviewers are correct about one thing: the fly opening is too small! The zipper should be longer and extend lower. I wear a suit almost every day to work. That means 2 things: (1) I need dress pants that are durable enough to be a frequently worn staple of my office attire; and (2) said pants must be comfortable (without detracting from their professional, office-appropriate appearance. These Amazon-brand pants meet both requirements. They can be worn either as slacks, or combined (as I did) with Amazon’s navy blazer and worn as a suit. In terms of appearance, these pants look professional and conservative. They are also comfortable; however, I must note they are definitely on the thin side (nothing ridiculous or inappropriate, but something you willl need to keep in mind if you get cold easily or if you buy a pair that is a lighter color and you wear brightly colored underwear.) Last, these pants are a VERY dark shade of blue. I do not mean that as a criticism, but as advice in case you are looking for pants and/or a suit that is the “traditional” shade of navy that is a staple of office/professional dress. Read more
