Happily impressed with this parka. It definitely over delivered from what I was expecting. The fit was good, exactly what I expected for a XXL. The sleeves were a good length, not too long, but slightly longer than most non-tall jackets. It's got quality ykk zippers throughout and the main zipper is two-way making pit stops easy. The hand warmer pockets are Sherpa fleece lined and nice and roomy. There is only one other pocket inside the left chest. The side zips are handy for accessing your pants pockets. The removable hood is roomy and puffy, but there are no drawcords or adjustments, it works best with a ball cap under it to keep it out of your eyes. The insulation is very puffy and the jacket does very well blocking the wind. Weight is about as expected, this is definitely NOT a "packable" jacket. It is very comfortable and warm and the materials seem durable. I've found no loose threads or bad stitching. Wearing this reminds me of being wrapped up in a puffy comforter, I really like it. Very warm and cozy, a great length, good to 20 degrees Fahrenheit without sweater underneath. The only downside is that it only has two pockets on the front, but they are fairly deep, and furry, so they are warm. There is one inside pocket. I'd like to see them add two lower outer pockets, since we have to carry shopping bags around now. The price was awesome. The hood is well padded and warm, but does not have a closing string, which it should have added. It is lightweight. Below 30, I'd wear a sweater underneath, and below 20, another jacket layer. Fits like it should, keeps me warm, so far no rips or tears so it seems good quality to me. I can usually be comfortable in a sweater and this jacket in 30 degree weather. It seems light compared to most of the clothes I wear and it isn't to puffy to be bulky. Goes down to my knees. Overall pleased with it when walking the dog at night. Read more

I bought this coat because I couldn't find a decent plus size female coat. It exceeded my expectations. It's warm in the coldest weather. The material is fantastic. I love that I can open up the sides and zip both ways to give my legs room when I sit. The pockets are lined to keep the hands warm so don't fret if you forget gloves. It runs true to size. I typically wear a 2X/3X in women's. I went with a XXL big and I wish I went smaller but it wasn't available. It's roomy enough for an extra sweater so I'll keep it. This is the best coat I've ever come across. Anything made in Vietnam is far superior to Chinese. The manufacturing quality is excellent. Very large felt-lined pockets. Incredibly warm. Generous hood. Do be aware that they are oversized. I had to get an XS and even that was big in the shoulders. Order a size or two down. Truly first rate manufacturing. First off, this coat is by most standards very nice and an exceptional value. The color is bold and striking. It's very warm, and when you wear it, it's like you're surrounded by a soft blanket. The hood fits well and pocket design is fine. My only real complaint is that the style is perhaps too bold for me--it's longer than I was thinking it would be, falling below my knees, a somewhat feminine cut similar to what you might see with a fur coat. I've only worn it a few times, and more than one acquaintance has already asked if I had borrowed my wife's coat! I'm on the short side so maybe this cut works better for taller men, where the length would be less pronounced. I would also recommend getting this in black instead of blue for a less bold look. I considered returning it, but honestly it's so comfortable and warm that I can live with the occasional question or curious look. Read more

What a very pleasant surprise! I ordered an XL. I am 511 and 210 pounds. The fit and quality of this garment is outstanding! There is enough room underneath for me to wear a suit, jacket or thick sweat sweater. It is extremely elegant looking and the shoulders stand up, which give it a substantially refined look. It looks like it is a vastly more expensive garment. It is thick and warm and has comfortable pockets lined with soft material. It is thick and substantial but lightweight. Roomy and comfortable. Plenty warm. I really appreciate the snaps with the zipper so I can use either as I please. A good value.
