Amazon Essentials Mens Relaxed Fit Cargo Fleece Sweatpants with Open Bottom

These look nice. They are true fleece & great for winter. Hubs had surgery in January up north/during snows & hated giving up jeans for recovery. I was trying to find something that didn't feel too out of place if we went shopping or out to eat. He liked the look of having cargo style as it made them look more like pants, along with the open hem. Of course they're still casual & have a drawstring so he had to be careful loading up the wallet keys & phone as he has no belt like he did with jeans. The size was good. Length was long (I did need to hem for him - he's 6 ft but his legs are not long. They've washed very well with no shrinkage. They're comfy & wearing well as far as we can tell. Great value & quality - no complaints so far. Since it's winter we looked for the fleece style as well as the other lighter style. Apparently "Sweatpant" does not automatically mean heavy FLEECE any more ... it could also be the light version too. Read more

Sweatpants are made of a nice thick and soft material. Side cargo pockets are located in a good spot, high enough to prevent items in the pocket from banging into knees while low enough not to interfere with items in side / hand pockets. Only down side is the pants are pretty long, at least a 34” inseam, and a bit baggier around the calves and ankles than depicted in the item images. Good fit, nice and warm, very comfortable. Haven't washed them yet so I can't speak for the shrinkage. Cargo pockets on sweat pants seem a little silly, but that's just my opinion. Overall, good value for the money. Read more
