I'm a size 10.5 wide and bought a size 11 which was okay but a bit tight. I then bought a size 12 and while a bit large is a better fit. Given my results I'd recommend 1 size larger if possible, if you're an odd size like me 1.5 but a half could suit you well depending on what comforts you. The main difference for me was the 1/2 size larger had a more than adequate footprint but was tight at the straps, less of a flip flop but slightly uncomfortable. The 1.5 larger was comfortable at the straps but allowed a little more flip flop between sole and foot when walking. Bottom line is go larger, how much depends on your preference, Aside from size they seem well constructed and of decent quality but I've only had them for a few days so not a lot of time to rate for overall satisfaction. I bought these Amazon Essentials flip flop sandals for the occassional outdoor use when I was too lazy to throw on a pair of shoes. But the quality of these Amazon Essentials flip flops really surprised me - they have a truly grippy sole and the foot strap has a very comfortable and durable material on the interior side. The footbed itself is lightweight and not spongy at all - just a nice soft but firm, supported surface that's easy on the feet. These easily rival my other name brand sandals. Great flip flop that I wear everyday around the house! I was going to say a great flip flop for the value (I paid around $13, same flop is just over $16 now, other colors are closer to $19); but I would say that these are better than most of the other name brands I used over the years. In quality, comfort, and durability. I bought the Navy color (size 10) because it was the cheapest and I didn’t want to “experiment” with a new brand of flip flop by investing at least $40 for the same quality. These fit exactly as expected (not too narrow, not too wide). No rubbing at the toes, and not too loose when it flops. The Navy Color is actually pretty nice looking. I would say on the color spectrum, it is closer to black than a royal blue. I will buy brown and black in the future (my primary go to flip flop colors) without hesitation. My only complaint would be the big metallic “Amazon Essentials” logo on the heel, but it is not so noticeable when worn and soon fades/rubs off completely. Buy now, you won’t regret it! Read more

I bought these just to wear around the house, mostly to and from the shower. While they serve that purpose, they are not for comfortable daily wear. The part that goes over the foot, where it meets the part that goes between the toes isn't sewn well...leaves a bit of fabric excess where it's sewn together. While that seems a minor problem, that excess will rub...causing irritation and eventually abrasing the skin making wearing them for a long period of time, difficult. The strap going over the top of the foot is super tight. While this will keep it on your foot, taking them off and on will take a bit more effort. The part between your toes, is set back farther than normal flip flops, and because of the tightness of the "overstrap", locks your foot in...there isn't a lot of flex or "give" because of that. The logo on the upper side of the heel is annoying...it feels like something slipped in between your foot and the flip flop while walking. I plan on sanding the logo down. Finally, without question, BUY A FULL SIZE BIGGER. I wear a size 12 and took the advice of fellow reviewers, and bought a 13. My foot barely fits. If you're looking for some cheapy flip flops to pad around the house, these will work. But if you're looking for some flip flops to comfortably walk around in all day, say to the beach, or run errands, I suggest looking elsewhere. Read more

I've been using these for a solid month now. They take a few wears to break in and mold to your foot as all sandals do. I walk up and down hills to get to the lake and use them for the usual daily walks. They are holding up fantastic. I grew up with Reefs, and these are a great for half of the price. Comfortable and look good. I have not taken them in the water yet, so can't comment on the straps after being wet. Get a pair, they are worth it! Read more
