Amazon Essentials Mens Stretch Canvas Double Knee Utility Work Pant Previously Goodthreads

I have always been impressed with "Amazon Essentials" items when it comes to quality/value and this work-pant is no exception. Yep you can always find comparables or better, but usually at a steeper price, and although there are some trade-offs here, none are a deal-breaker for me. First, at 5'8"/145 lbs, these pants fit me fine, but they are indeed narrow and taper thru the lower legs and yes, they will be extremely hard-pressed to fit over boots, so even though they do have a good amount of stretch to them, they do narrow over your calf and that would be a problem on some builds. Waist and length were just as expected for my normal 32"w/29"l sizing. The material weight and stitching is overall pretty decent, except for the waist-button thread unraveling at the "git-go", while on the other hand, the double-knee area is longer than most, extending from mid-thigh to well below the knee to mid-shin. The four pockets are deep and I don't miss any extra pockets of some other brands, which I never really used anyway. I didn't experience any "bleeding" in the cold wash nor any shrinking after initial medium-heat dryer cycle. So overall, these medium-weight double-knee work-pants work just fine for me at a third of the price of name brands. Read more

Like the title says, I understand it was probably a return but still crazy they didn't catch this. It was even in a sealed bag in the shipping bag, so I guess it could have come from the factory that way. I'm pretty sure it will wash out and if not I bought these pants to bike in anyway so they were bound to get greasy. Anyway the fit is as expected. I'm a little on the heavier side right now but I still fit in my usual 32 waist. It says "stretch" in the title, and they do have a little bit of give but not as much as my Levi's jeans with stretch. I got the non stretch Amazon work pants and couldn’t bend down without hiking up the knees/thighs every single time and a 36” fit like a 34” (I size up to conceal carry). Those got returned for this pant and they are almost perfect. True to size, durable, and just the right amount of stretch. Only thing is I wish they had another extra pocket or two but otherwise fantastic pants for the money. Ended up getting 3 pairs. Read more

The media could not be loaded. These pants are built tough but still comfortable enough to wear all day. The canvas material feels sturdy, and the double knee design gives extra reinforcement where it’s needed most. I really like that they have just the right amount of stretch, so they move with you instead of feeling stiff. Good value for the price. The length was perfect but the waist size has varied depending on what you’re ordering. I’ve ordered the same size in different colors and they all seem to vary quite a bit in waist sizes. This pair of jeans waist size was closer to a 33 not 32 so although they fit, it was really loose. Price is fair and the fit was good, HOWEVER the color bleeding/dye running is heavy and never stops. I always pre soak any colored clothing to get any fresh from the factory color bleeding out of the way, these were Navy Blue and in spite of rinsing them in hot water at least 10 times the bleeding never stopped or tapered off. In fact my hands were stained Blue from the repeated soaking and rinsing. This will hold true for any color you choose.
