Quality snow pants at value price

KimFebruary 8, 2026✓ Verified purchase

Great quality snow pants. These are worth their value. Well made, not bulky so easy to move in whether outside shovelling, or skiing down a hill. Great length, and zippered opening for fitting boots of any size. Keeps you warm and dry. Buttons nicely and form fitting. Read more

Essentials Men's Water-Resistant Insulated Snowboard Ski Snow Pant

CJ FandelNovember 13, 2025✓ Verified purchase

These snow pants are awesome! I bought them purely for wearing while I snow-blow my driveway, and I am so totally happy that I did! It's light weight but very comfortable and warm even in windy sub-zero temperatures! It's flexible and seems to be durable and good materials in its construction. It fits comfortably and securely over my boots and has kept both the snow and cold outside, and they definitely help keep my legs and knees and behind warm when it's freezing outdoors. I recently wore them just because my knees were getting stiff as I started to work on a tractor of mine. There was no snow, and it was well above freezing out, but I am really glad I thought to put the pants on. My knees made it through the job that required me to kneel, lay down get up and down several times, and there was barely a hint of being uncomfortable or cold and stiff joints which would not have been the case had I not been wearing them! Runs a little bit. Performs really well

P. SorornejadDecember 29, 2025✓ Verified purchase

Purchased and used during Christmas break for skiing. Did a great job of keeping me warm and dry! Runs a little big and uses Velcro adjusters at the hips. If I ordered again I would go with a L even though I'm typically an XL on some stuff. Read more

From an urban hiker perspective

OmarDecember 16, 2022✓ Verified purchase

Wow, these are amazing. I was really not expecting the quality to be of pants that I'd expect for closer to $100 or more. I've never owned snow pants (and didn't know what they were for --skiing-- other than being fatter than regular tactical pants, now realizing that I'm gonna have a hook on the bottom of my pants I'll probably never use since I wasn't buying these for skiing?) Anyway, here's my perspective anyway. I love owning all kinds of gear for literally regular daily use. I don't climb mountains, I don't actually go long-term/long-range hiking (other than my local trails like a normie) but I love being outside for prolonged periods of time (at times walking my dog) and I also work outside. So I love owning gear for the Texas weather. Right off the bat, I noticed that these pants are basically like having a jacket for your legs. You can immediately feel the fluff inside the pants. Snow pants are like fluffy down jackets for your legs. They are great to wear in winter at home. They're comfortable enough (even though they're made out of nylon on the outside, the inside might be polyester, I don't know for sure but it feels comfortable and smooth) to be worn inside all day. Much more than a premium Levi stretch jeans. If you're cheap like me and don't like using heat, wear these! (combine them with wool socks or scuba socks) Some things I noticed, they are very wide and do not taper at the bottom (for obvious reason), you wouldn't want to be caught with these outside unless it's actually snowing. It will look very out of place. But I'm fine with them since I can still use them inside and when it's actually snowing or raining (but I don't know if they will hold up in the rain like my rain pants). I'm guessing I'll give them a shot in very cold weather if I don't wanna bulk up under my rain pants. This test remains yet to be tested but I'm assuming they won't hold up like my rain pants since these are for snow and not rain. They're resistant, not proof. Although I could probably put on my rain pants over these so it will take less time to get ready for rain rather than bulking up. These are definitely rugged pants even though they're not rip stopping. They seem much tougher than your regular nylon ripstop pants (I own several). They definitely seem tougher material than your regular nylon pants and I think ripstop is not even needed. This is just by feeling the fabric and in my expert opinion of owning pants. I let dogs come up to me and mess with my clothes so I know what kind of fabric can take what kind of beating. I've been there. I honestly don't really see the point of ripstop when generally you're going to run into issues with being poked into the fabric rather than stretched. ripstop doesn't protect against being poked (like by a dog's paws or pointy shrubs/vines). I feel like these pants could take a lot more beating than perhaps my toughest nylon pants I own. I was quite impressed by the zippers on these pants. There's a fly zipper, then two front pocket zippers (no back pockets) and zippers by your ankles, all are high quality, thick/fat smooth zippers. Basically the best you can have. There's a small polyester lining by the ankles I guess to keep your legs protected from snow. I don't know why else. Either way, I don't intend to ski in the near future but at this price and the fact that I just wanted to own snow pants, I'm thoroughly impressed and satisfied. I'm not going to spend hundreds of dollars to own something I don't intend to use a lot but I do think I'll use these a lot at home. I own a lot of thick sweatpants and joggers, but I'm weird and I like using new things. Read more

Great quality warm snow pants

Nathan HamiltonJanuary 23, 2026✓ Verified purchase

Just received these today and I'm really impressed with the fit and quality. I got size small for my son. He's 5'7 and around 109lbs and they fit great. The waist can be tightened and they are super warm and seem like they'll be durable! I prefer the color in person vs online, it's more of a muted mustard. Definitely recommend. Read more

Sizes didn't fit me.

SailracerDecember 4, 2022✓ Verified purchase

I don't know why Amazon Essentials clothes don't have measurements, just sizes. That could've saved me some hassle of trying two different sizes and having to return both. I'm 5'10 165lbs. Amazon recommended the large for me, so I went with that the first time. The waist on it was way too big for me. I have a 33" waist and this fit more like a 35" or 36". The velcro straps to adjust the waste did not have enough adjustment in them to make it fit me comfortably. The length was a touch long as well. I have a 31" inseam. I then ordered a medium and tried those. The waist on them was right at the limit of fitting me with the velcro adjusters all the way out. A size 33 waist seems to be right in between the comfortable fit of medium or large. The length of the medium was good, but they were too tight through the thighs and crotch and not comfortable to wear. So unfortunately, those are being returned as well. I'm disappointed because these were a great price and seem to be nice and warm. Read more

They do the job!

cristine cabreraFebruary 12, 2026✓ Verified purchase

My husband plows in upstate New York and he's been wearing these the past couple snowstorms and he says that they do the job! The price point is great. I washed them multiple times and put them in the dryer by mistake actually and they have done fine they look brand new. I went with a size large for him He usually wears a 3432 or a 3232. He's 5'7 and about 185 lb. I wanted them to be slightly big on him so he could wear pants underneath them and they are perfect with room to spare. For reference in upstate New York it's been under zero with the wind chill! They keep him warm and he's Puerto Rican so he complains often about how cold he is haha and these actually keep him warm!
