I love this bag! It’s the perfect size for me — I can fit my card holder, keys, phone, and even some snacks. I already have the regular size baglett and find it very useful, though the small size requires swapping money & cards to a smaller wallet than usual (so it will fit in the bag). I saw the larger size, checked the measurements and decided to "give it a go". I'm so glad that I did! This is a little gem which holds my wallet, tissues, notebook & pen, house keys, phone, even my asthma spray, all in comfort with room to spare. The microfibre has a lovely smooth feel to it, and the "cause" pink ribbon logo shows nicely whichever way the bag is worn. It's great worn as a cross-body bag and looks good the 4 different ways I've tried it - in the front, hanging across the left or right shoulder; also over the back hanging either way. The hardware used is good throughout, and I really like the way that the buckle on the strap holds it in place so that the bag doesn't slip lower throughout the day (as I've found with some other brand bags). I have had the same brand of bag for 7 years and love it. The bag itself was fine. Material was as is expected. I tried the smaller size but it was smaller than i expected. It would not hold everything I need on a daily basis. Would have been great if I needed something small with only the essentials. Plus I didn't like the clip on strap because I love the other style in the bigger bags so much more. Read more

I've been a fan of Americans for more years than I care to count. They are so comfortable to carry, so rugged, and so easy to organize, that it's the only purse I carry except for the most formal outings. Usually, I opt for the HBB in small, which is just right; however, I wanted to try one of the larger bagels for travel and long walks. I'm pleased with the color, which is a sort of cremini mushroom brown. This is the first microfiber Ameribag I've owned, and I wasn't sure I'd like the material, but it's fine so far. I have no issues with the quality. Every Ameribag, I've ever owned lasted for years and held up in both looks and hardware (even after a few trips through the washer for some.). I like how easily the strap adjusts for cross-body or one shoulder carrying, and the key chain clip (in all Americans) is sturdy and useful. I hope they never get rid of that clip. If only the bag for an inch wider and an inch taller, it would be perfect for my needs. As is, it's a bit of a squeeze to get my larger mobile phone in and out of it quickly, especially if I'm carrying a small wallet and sunglasses, neither of which is optional for me. At this width, the side pockets are fairly useless (unless you have a small mobile, I suppose). My other quibble is that I ordered this in mid-May for a trip in early June, and it did not arrive until the day after I left. I've never had an Amazon order take that long to arrive. They also wouldn't let me cancel or redirect the order, which was annoying given the three week delay. Fortunately, my neighbor was willing to watch for the package. I'm not busting the product rating for this, but Amazon could do better. I'm keeping the bagel, but if they ever come out with a bagel that is larger than this, but smaller than the extra-small HBB, I'm ordering it ASAP and will give this one away. Read more

This purse is perfect for me. Small and light, but big enough to carry my iphone13, my wallet, glasses, three sets of keys and lipstick. It is a crossover so my hands are free. It has an outside zippered pocket for my car key, an inside key strap for my house keys. I will be buying another in a different color. If you don’t want to lug around a heavy purse for a few items this is the purse for you! Read more

This bag would be real nice with another two inches long and two across. It is small. The wording “large Baglett” gives you another idea. It gives the idea it is a little bigger even though the measurements is given, the idea is confusing until you get it. it’s makes a nice big wallet to put into a carry on bag. I love this purse. I have back problems and have had issues with purses hurting me. So I looked for something ergonomic. A lot of things strap on your back but having a curved spine, slipped discs and such, a big bag on my bag seems as problematic as a bag hanging from my shoulder. This I can rotate from shoulder to shoulder, strap across my back and hook around my waist. The strap is too large to just fit around my waist and hang there. I’m a smaller lady. So I clip the clip to itself in such a way... well, it works. And around my waist it isn’t a classic “fanny pack.” The shape has it hang in such a way that it looks a little more jaunty and like I’m doing a sci-fi role playing thing. The bean shape, I think... I like the black simplicity, though my sunscreen this summer is bleaching it. A kindle is too big to fit in it but any iPhone is fine. I try not to overload it or carry a lot of change. It can hold a lot more than you’d think. I’ve alre sold a couple of people on these things. Not just for ladies! Really, it’s just the best bag. Read more
