This skillet arrived securely packed in the manufacturer's packaging and with general instructions on how to season an iron skillet if one is not familiar with proper care and maintenance. It's been great to heat up small leftovers or making a small one serving size meal for myself. It's easy to clean and maintain after each use so I can always have it ready to use for next time. If you often cook for two or more people them it would be best to invest in a larger size skillet. If constantly making meals for one, this is a good and durable iron skillet for daily use. Read more

I bought this because I love cast iron and wanted a little cast iron skillet. The first thing I used it for was to roast garlic. It was perfect. You can easily fit it in the oven beside anything you are cooking. We use it almost every time we cook. Garlic, whole jalapenos, onion slices all turn out beautifully with just a touch of oil.
