I’ve been making homemade ice cream 2-3 times a week. It’s quick, easy, delicious and most of all it’s healthy! Here’s my low sugar/fat recipe: 1 XL or 2 Sm.Eggs, 1 3/4C 2% milk, 1/4 C H&Half, Tsp Br. Sugar, 1/2 C+ Stevia, 1/2 T vanilla ( or more ) l Mix about 35 minutes. It will be soft but yummy or you can freeze it for a bit. NOTE: Start your freezer ASAP after pouring in your mix otherwise the mix will begin to freeze and the dasher blades will stick. I really wanted to like this product because it's a sleek design and cute. But, it's not functional. The first unit the plastic blade broke after only a few uses, so I returned it and got a second. Then that unit only worked for so long before it stopped turning ingredients into ice cream. I saw another review stating the same - that it just churned forever and made liquid, no ice cream produced. Not sure what happened, but I had the same experience with the second unit purchased. Used it one time and it never really froze the ice cream well. Put it back in the freezer to try again and it fell when I opened the upright freezer from the 2nd shelf up and busted everywhere. So my fault for the death of the freezer but didn’t do a great job Read more

Have had for almost a year. Pros: easy to clean, affordable Cons: stops running after about an hour of use - have to let it sit for a day before I can use again. And it’s noisy. I have my own Keto ice cream recipe and have not tried anything in the manual. Overall, if you’re looking for cheap and temporary, I’d recommend this but not for heavy use or long-term. Note: you have to put the bowl in the freezer for this to work the ice cream base properly. All the liquid inside the bowl needs to be frozen. Read more

It was simple to set up, simple to use, and easy to clean. Like many people stated, there was no manual or recipe booklet enclosed. The box does have a couple of photos showing the process, but never states to freeze the bowl for several hours ahead of time. For first time users, this might not be an obvious thing to do. The manufacturer needs to make sure the informational manuals and recipe booklets are included in every box, not just a few boxes on the assembly line. Read more

I wanted a small ice cream maker, and the 1.5 quart version was the perfect size. I bought this to use with my 5 year old. He loves it. I can’t believe people in the other reviews are confused about how to use this product. It’s extremely easy to put together and use. It's not that great, I was excited when I first used it but the "new toy" excitement wore off really quick. It's not quiet at all. Surprisingly a little tough to put together with my one hand and the bowl itself is meh. The recipes tastes good but they don't freeze well. You freeze the bowl you put the mix in and since it's water on the inside it melts completely after one 30 min use. The motor heats up fast too. Just not worth the wait or even the joy of the result.
