I was hesitant to order this frame due to the "frequently returned item" warning and some less than reviews. So glad I took the plunge This frame ( black in 24 x 24) is just perfect for what I needed! Odd sized puzzle fit absolutely perfectly. It's very sturdy and substantial! Heavy! The non-glass cover had a protective coating that when peeled showed a perfect surface. The back has many securing slides and 2 hangers for mounting on the wall. This is a great price point as well as many alternated, both on Amazon and in physical stores where about double the cost. This frame is great for my paint-by-number acrylic paint on canvas prints. It is easy to open the back, peel off the plastic coatings on the front and back of the plexiglass (like a phone screen protector). Be careful with the frame edges; they are paper-like, easy to damage and not easy to fix-learned that on my first one (I’ve bought these frames for paintings I made for friends and for myself). I’m careful not to stand them on the corners when assembling. There’s a bit of a glare off the plexiglass at times, but I suppose that’s typical. I don’t like the hanging hardware on the frame. It’s too hard to hang level in my opinion, so I have strung wire very taut between the hardware allowing me to use only one nail/screw on the wall. Read more

Finally found the perfect black frame for my hand-drawn poster! This is a solid wood frame with a good sturdy backing, multiple clips to hold it in place, with very sturdy hanging hardware both directions so it can be hung vertically or horizontally easily. It also has a perfect mat, and the plexiglass came protected by a film on both sides which looks just like glass up on the wall. Not super heavy, but definitely not lightweight and cheap, worth every penny and I’m super happy with this purchase. Read more
