This frame was SO easy to put my African clothe picture in, it turned out beautifully. The frame did not come apart the plexiglass was very easy to remove and the brackets in the back was so easy to fit in their slots that are at the to, for the wider ones and under the rim of the frame for the smaller ones, I had NO problems doing this all by my little self. Because this is a thin frame only 1/2" wide, it was easy to work with and not heavy to lift, it looks fantastic on my wall. It was worth the money, I paid more for another frame and the Plexi glass was crack and the frame didn't look as good as this one and it cost more for a little smaller size. This frame it arrived the next day after I placed my order. For anyone adding a picture, poster or a clothe mat like me, use some 2 way tape, a very tiny piece to keep your picture in place. I used the sheet of paper that was in the frame as a background mat, I turned it to where the white showed to highlight my art. I love the color and the fact that it wasn't glossy, it's more of a satin finish which would did not take away from the look of the art. I bought this for a gift that I need to ship across country so I wanted lightweight Plexiglass, not breakable heavy glass. This is perfect. I did ask for Amazon packaging, but that didn't happen and it arrived in the manufacturer's very thin box with a torn corner. Luckily, the frame wasn't damaged at all, just the box. I was hoping for an outer box so I could have protection after adding the art inside the frame, but I will add heavy duty cardboard to the outside of the original box and wrap it with extra protection. The frame is superior and of high quality. The black color is perfectly black. Not too shiny, not too matte. The POLISHED PLEXIGLASS is EXCELLENT QUALITY. No scratches and very clear quality. The backboard is also superior with many easy to articulate closures to hold it in place and several claw-style hangers already in place to hang either vertical or horizontal. Overall, this frame is pretty nice. I got it to replace a similar frame that was glass front that fell and shattered. I almost chucked the picture completely but as it was a gift from someone else and I realized it’s an actual photo that they took, blew up, and mounted. So I definitely wanted to replace the frame. Because of the issue with the glass frame that I had previously, I definitely wanted only plexiglass so I would not have to experience this issue again. This frame does have plexiglass. But as you can see in my pictures, the plexiglass does not lay flat - it kind of has a bit of buoyancy and puffiness to it. The only issue there is the way that the lights and other things reflect off of the plexiglass. So I do miss the very flat glass frame that I had only because of that. The black frame itself is actually very nice. I like that it has a very thin frame around the picture. That is actually why I ordered this one because it was the thinnest that I could find at this price point. It was very easy to take it apart and put it back together with the picture inside. The back of this is very easy to work with. The plexiglass had protective film on both sides of the plexiglass. So just know you’re going to have to pull off film from both sides, but the film was actually easy to pull off. I had no issues. Again, very nice frame. Bought two 8x10 black frames to hold vintage menus for our bar area. They are well made and sturdy and look like metal, but aren’t. Paid just under $10 for each frame and they are perfect. Love the slim edge for a more modern look. Came well packaged and look much more expensive than they actually are. Don’t overthink this, just buy them! Read more
I got this to hold an anniversary gift from my husband. I wanted something lightweight and simple, and this fit the bill. I was extremely impressed by the quality of this frame! I didn’t expect it to have center supports or so many reinforcements for the backing. That was a very pleasant surprise. I've bought several of these to have matching frames for some art prints. They're nothing fancy, kind of "cheap" feeling, but for their purpose, they work fine. Easy to hang and they haven't cracked or anything. It's a simple, basic picture frame. Read more
