I've been tracking my sleep quality and other health metrics with a smart watch, but really wanted to purchase the ring as I prefer having something smaller and more comfortable than Apple watch. I have never owned the big name ring tracker or any other ring device, so my opinion is based solely on experiencing the ring and comparing some of the metrics against the Apple watch measurements. It's super light and easy to wear, looks nice as an accessory, I barely notice that I have it on. Charges super quickly, the compact case/charger is pretty slick. I really like the app, super intuitive and clean, set up was too easy. Literally took a second to pair the device and you are on your way to using your new ring. The ring measures multiple metrics - steps, heart rate, stress levels, activity, sleep quality etc. I really appreciate having a daily summary of my most important health stats. The only con so far that I noticed is related to some variability in measuring sleep stages between my Apple watch and my new ring. Neither, based on my research, is equipped to give a precise reading, so both may very well be slightly off. The main recommendation I found is that following trends rather than specific phase readings is far more useful, which the ring does a great job of capturing. I’ve been wearing this ring for a few weeks now. I also wear an Apple Watch so I’ve enjoyed seeing the comparisons. Pros: The ring 100% measures more steps than my watch does. Like I’m talking 1000+ step difference. I’ve seen a slight difference for body temperature daily(still not really sure how accurate it is.) I LOVE the sleep score. It shows different stages you’re in. It’s withstood quite a few hits to walls and desks. And no scratches! Durability is great! Cons: it only fits on my right ring finger, I should have sized up one to do my pointer. If you’re thinking of an oura ring, put your $50 towards that right away! I’ve had this ring for 3 months and it no longer holds a charge for even 10 hours. Very disappointing! It was great when it did hold a charge though so I’d recommend the Oura ring, not this one. Read more
