I got this for my two daughters, 11 and 13, thinking they might be getting a little old for RC cars, but the fact that this one could go in water caught my eye. I figured we'd give it a shot. I'm giving it five stars because it's proven to be surprisingly tough and has provided a lot of entertainment for the money. What I like most is its durability. The girls have not been gentle with it, running it full speed across the yard, over rocks, and through dirt. It's held up without a single piece breaking. The real test was the "amphibious" claim. We took it down to the creek behind the house, and I'll be darned, the thing actually motors right across the water. It's not fast in the water, but it goes, and the girls thought that was the coolest thing ever. The dual spray mist feature is another thing they love. You fill up these little reservoirs with water, and it shoots a fine mist out the back, lit up by the LED lights. It looks pretty neat, especially as it gets dark. As for dislikes, they're pretty minor. The little bottle you use to fill the mist tanks is tiny and easy to lose, and you have to refill it often. Also, this is not a high-speed, hobby-grade RC truck. It’s got enough zip to be fun in the yard, but it won't be winning any races. For the price, though, the value is definitely there. It comes with two rechargeable batteries, so you can always have one charging while the other is in use, which cuts down on the complaining. It’s a solid toy that does everything it claims to, and seeing my daughters having a blast with it together makes it a five-star purchase in my book. Read more

One click stand up feature did not work. Truck backs up and tries but never stood up. Battery was fully charged as that is a comment in the instructions saying the feature will not work unless fully charged. Leeds me to believe that feature would only work a few times at best. Returning. Read more
