This well-made, large, and beautiful dark gray rug fits my walk-in shower area perfectly. I’ve been struggling to find a size that covers the area when the door is fully open, but this one is ideal. It allows the door to be fully opened, providing us with a spacious area to dry ourselves. However, it’s quite heavy, and I’m a bit concerned about washing it at home. This rug does a lot right. The chenille polyester feels soft and comfortable under bare feet, and it’s impressively absorbent after showers. The non-slip backing keeps it from sliding around on bathroom tiles, which makes it both safe and practical. It doesn’t dry quickly , but in my experience it’s always ready to go again within 24 hours. The range of sizes is a real plus—I was able to find one that fit well in my 10' x 5' bathroom. Care is straightforward: the rug is machine washable, but not suitable for the tumble dryer. Keep in mind that because it absorbs a lot of water, it gets heavy during washing. On a regular spin cycle it can really rattle the machine, so it’s better to use a gentle or slow spin. If you own a carpet cleaner, that’s an even better option. Overall, this rug is a solid choice for the bathroom. I wouldn’t use it as an entryway or hallway rug where people wipe dirty shoes, but for soaking up water and keeping the bathroom floor comfortable, it works very well. Read more
