I have not had to use these fire extinguishers, and I hope I never have to. Nevertheless, they are here if I need them. I purchased a regular residential fire extinguisher when I purchased my home many years ago. It was well outdated and needed replaced. With this product, I got two canisters for one reasonable price. I keep one in my kitchen cabinet and the other I put next to my bed. I have limited mobility and so I like the option of having this product easily available as I sleep. It’s easy to store and also comes with mountable wall brackets for optional storage. It’s portable and puts out many types of fires. Easy clean up and non-toxic. It is exactly as described. It comes with a holder that you can mount on the wall for easy access. The holder is a little flimsy, once it’s mounted on the wall it should be ok. There’s 500 ml of formula fire stop, it’s non-toxic and environmentally friendly. The directions say to use it at the base of the of flames, but if it doesn’t work to call your local fire department. Also be careful with electric installations. I haven't encountered a situation that caused me to have to use this product, but to have it in the home as a preventative is always a good thing. Very large and professional. Heavy. Good to have, but I also bought smaller cans I can use quickly in an emergency. Like hair spray can, but it is a fire extinguisher. I also bought a couple of fire blankets to throw over a kitchen fire. Probably overkill but worth it Read more

You never know until you have to use it. I have not used this brand. I have used about 30 cans over the past 3 years on car engine oil fires at a dirt track. All brands seem to work well so not to concerned. Main thing is ease of use at the nozzle. This one is simple enough. Read more
