When I ordered this I wasn't even looking at how eco friendly it was. The tag was full of incredible information on how I had a much cooler product than I even realized I had lol. The best thing about this mat to me is that it lays flaaaat. And I mean no matter how many times you roll it up or for how long. Mine sat in the shrink wrap for a month before I got to it and it doesn't even curl at the edges. It also seems to stay quite a bit cleaner than the synthetic mats. This one is made from natural rubber! It just feels different. It more grounding by far. I'n mot on some plastic or foam garbage that is terrible for nature and I'm a part of nature so I like that. The other really great feature is that it is noticeably more narrow and longer than a standard mat. Its so beautiful and grips so well that I have actually considered ordering others to use as runner rugs in my house lol. The pattern is stunning and the print is high quality. I really can't say enough about how much more grounding it is for people with anxiety. I use it just to meditate on sometimes! I call it my "magic carpet" because it looks like a gorgeous Persian rug. High class and high quality and definitely a root chakra boost. I ordered the more red version, but will definitely be back for the more black one too. it isn't too heavy but is perfectly weighted to be rolled up and it STAYS in a perfect roll and stands alone! This mat is beautiful. It is even more attractive in person. I love the print and it helps with alignment of my feet. I have bad knees and the thickness of the mat is very comfortable for them. I do hot yoga and the surface is great for this type of yoga. It doesn't get slippery and grips well. I also love that it comes with a carrier. Quick and easy. When I was shopping for a mat, I couldn't see any where how to clean this mat. I purchased it anyway and am happy to find out that you can hand wash or machine wash on gentle cycle/cold water. Hang dry. You can wrap the wet mat in a towel and squeeze out excess water to speed up drying. Hope this helps others looking for care instructions. Read more

I overall am in love w the matt. However very unhappy w the overall experience. The sticker which comes on the matt as you can see was either melted on the matt or the glue remained. In addition, parts of where the sticker would not come off caused damaged to the matt. I merely just opened the pkg 20 mins or less after arrival. Poor decision to place a HUGE sticker on the front side unfortunately made this expereince and product rating dissatisfied. I will probably try and return bc of the sticker imprint and glue that remained. I was not agressive in removing the sticker, inremoved it slowly and yet the residue remained. :( Was so excited. Disappointed As an update to my comments above. They traded the original matt and sent another. Still think the placement of the sticker should be reconsidered however i am pleased w the manner in which this was handled and still adore the matt and just recommend to buyers TAKE EXTRA precaution and time to remove the sticker(s) Read more

This mat is gorgeous. The rubber helps give such a solid feeling, you will balance better than ever on this mat! It is a little thin for my knees but I keep it in my bedroom for short practices so it is fine for my purpose. I love the soft sueded finish on top, it is perfect and feels nice for morning and before-bed flows! My old pup loves to lay on this mat more than any other soft surface in the house, it does hold onto dog hair but another benefit I found is because it is such a heavy solid rubber it is easy to fold up, it does not unroll. Finding a yoga mat online is a PROCESS. After hours and hours of searching online, finding the best non-split eco-friendly mats out there, jumping between them, sorting through hundreds of results in amazon, and repeat, I finally just chose this mat. This mat is affordable, the reviews were great, has a beautiful design, and biodegradable. I also loved the idea of supporting a smaller, eco-conscious company. When this mat arrived, WOW, I fell in love. The texture is completely non-split, the thickness is perfect, it feels sturdy/supportive while staying remaining cushy (for my resilient joints holding all my weight in poses).
