This was ordered as an upgrade for my 2024 Nissan Frontier with a 3.8L V6 engine. Installation took about 15 minutes with the suppled zip ties and a piece of foam padding that I provided. Simply mount the unit to the negative and positive terminals and setup the phone app. The difference is very noticeable. My truck starts up quicker and stronger. The app is nice and it's easy to use. It allows the user to monitor battery status and health. The same is true for monitoring the Super Starter through the phone app. The unit itself is a nice upgrade but it's priced a little too high at the moment. Read more

This works great. I have a battery which seemed to be close to its end of life. Am able to stretch it out a little longer by regularly trickle charging it. This Ancel BS200 is a great, albeit temporary, solution. I get real time battery status and my truck starts up instantly even with a 60% battery charge. I haven't tried it with the charge below that but it seems like it should work with a nearly dead battery. My truck typically goes on short trips, gets parked outside when the kids are home, and stays parked for weeks at a time. It goes through batteries every 2.5 years. I'm hoping the BS200 will double that or more. Read more

Product super capacitor seems to work and helps with starting. I did notice that the car noticeably starts easier and so it seems that the product is working with a known low battery. However I was not able to get the Bluetooth to pair with iPhone app. Also the iPhone app was blowing up my firewall alerts because it sends all traffic to servers in mainland china. I tired all the troubleshooting steps even with AI assistance and still couldn’t get the app to work, but once I learned it was trying to send all my information to china I decided I didn’t want to use the app anyway. Which was a real let down because I really wanted to see the app data and use the alerts. This pretty much renders this product much less appealing per I bought it to use the app alerts and monitoring for battery health. I figured it would all be localized functionality and data because it uses Bluetooth but I was wrong. They try to get you to create an account and then the app tries to get your location data and then send it to servers in china. Why can’t you just make a product that respects privacy and keep the data local on the phone???? Or At least offer a paid for app that stores everything locally and doesn’t require registration or online account… Read more
