Definitely 0.5mm needles!
Most derma-rollers are .025 or .030mm needles, but this one is 0.5mm. So, it will go deeper (that's what you want) and work better. Will replace it with the same one when this one gets worn out. Read more

This is a great product to use for growing a beard. They say use it once a week then work up to every 3 days, but I use it every 3 days instead with no issues. Just make sure you clean the product so you get any rashes or something else lol. Do your research on this too! Read more

Not what I expected and one problem
I’d read online about derma rollers and how they supposedly stimulate hair growth in beard and even hairlines. I do believe it works but not as good as what’s claimed. I didn’t really notice much of a difference in beard growth and I used it on the front of my hairline just to see if it stimulated any additional growth. I have a full head of hair but time naturally makes you front hair area go back a little. While it never broke me out on any beard areas I used it, it did regrow some hair in the front but with an unexpected side effect. It broke out the top of my forehead and has been irritated ever since. I followed the recommendations to clean the roller before and after each use so I don’t understand why it broke that specific area out. I have naturally sensitive skin so I know that might be part of it but I still felt disappointed that while it did stimulate hair growth in that forehead area it came at the cost of breaking that skin out. I posted this review in an attempt to warn others who have very sensitive skin to avoid using the roller. Read more
