I was tired of buying the expensive "required" uniform socks which seemed to randomly disappear. I looked into affordable alternatives, and found these. My girls are 8 and 10, of average height, and I wasn't sure what size to get. I chose large thinking that they would be able to grow into them if they were a bit too large. When the socks arrived, they were packaged nicely. They fit great - a bit on the long side, but my youngest likes to stretch them up over her knees anyway. The color is a slightly lighter navy than the "official" school socks, but not noticeable enough to be of concern. They are also a bit thinner than their other socks, but still very nice. My youngest has sensory issues so I was concerned about the texture/softness of the sock and the stitching in the toe area (this has always been a big problem for us); both of my girls told me they are comfortable and have no issues with them, so now we are well-stocked on socks...for now! This is the 3rd year I purchase these high knee socks in white for my daughter. She is 9 and I buy 7-10 yrs size, fits perfect! she is a shoe size 1. I highly recommend washing them in cold water and do not roll them inside out. This causes the top elastic to lose its shape and will become loose, making them roll down your kids knee/leg. Good for teen high school students, I was worried they may be a little small but they seem to fit fine. For comparison my daughter is a women's size small in clothing. She used these socks all year last year and with daily use and eventually the heels became threadbare (hard use of a very active teen). Not complaining, I am back again to rebuy the same for a fresh supply. Would pay more however for a bit thicker and larger size, would be great if the seller would take requests :-) Read more

Cotton!!! That is what makes these socks not only a great buy but they STAY white. My last big pack of socks was a man made blend of fibers that turned a really ugly grayish color. Of coarse, I tried a whitener then a mild bleach which made them worse so I threw them all away and found these and I will never buy another sock that is not cotton. I wear a size 6 1/2 - 7 1/2 shoe and the extra large size fits great and they stay up too! Read more

My great granddaughter prefers knee high socks for school. She wants them to come up high and to fit well. These fit exactly as expected. She wears a size 3 shoe so I got her the medium. The washing instructions said to hand wash BUT I DID NOT. And they came out perfectly. NO PILLING - which I hate! And they did not shrink. They are smooth with no texture and she loves that. I thought they were going to come larger because of a few other reviews, but one mom on here had a kid my daughter's size, so i went with it.. My daugher is in a 8 toddler shoe. She is a size 4t body with very thin legs. These fit her perfectly. They don't fall down or roll down during the day and keep her legs warm (going to have to save them for cooler weather). Very cute. Fully opaque (at my daughter's current size). Nice quality. given the large range in sizes of folks reviewing here, they stretch well. Read more
