I love this so much, I've had it for almost 6 months of 50-60hrs/week of wear, back and forth with the casters of a heavy office chair. The pattern is not worn wear the casters roll over it, but under the desk where my shoes spend all their time, the pattern is a bit worn but I'm not surprised and it's under the desk, I don't care. The important thing to me is that the casters seamlessly transition between the floor and carpet, this is something i was most concerned with, but the wheels never get caught on the edge. Moreover, my cat thew up on it and it did not stain nor soak through to the hard floor. It has a very nice rubber underneath that keeps if from slipping. Usually my reviews include both positives and negatives for consideration. In this case I honestly can not identify a single negative aspect to this this rug from an aesthetic, functional, or durability standpoint. I wanted something other than the typical boring office chair floor protector for my home office and since I have many oriental rugs throughout my home this was a perfect option to continue that theme. Two aspects that stand out the most are how nice the design and colors are and how thin the rug is without seeming cheap or being unable to withstand wear. The rug is very pliable yet lies flat allowing my chair to roll freely over it without any bunching or rolling up due to a nice non slip coating on the underside. This was truly a small price to pay for the panache the rug has added to my office as well as eliminating any concern that my chair could harm my flooring. I definitely recommend this rug for it's advertised purpose and would not think twice about buying another one if it were ever needed. Read more
This rug (and it is basically a very thin rug with a nonslip backing) works okay as a chair pad over vinyl tile. The chair doesn't roll as smoothly as it does on tile, but it's perfectly workable. When I roll over the edge it's possible to roll it back onto the rug without adjusting it (easier if you stand up rather than sitting in the chair for it). I bought the biggest size, which I recommend, since that way the chair has room to move in every direction. It does look nice—multiple coworkers have commented that the office looks better. It did come folded, but flattened out quickly. The main complaint people seem to have is durability. The surface of mine is visibly worn after about five months of use. For the price I am willing to treat it as semi-consumable, but five months isn't great. Because it's a deliberately aged looking pattern it's not incredibly obvious, but I would be surprised if I get a year out of it. I may look at other similar alternatives. Read more

I was looking for an attractive under-chair mat that would enable my deskchair to roll easier and would protect my floor. So far, this has met all three of my needs. It's cute, it's flat, and it protects the floor (so far: two weeks). It's not a rug, and it's not a heavy fiber mat. I don't walk on it, or have my kids or my dog or my cat play on it. (I do not have a kid or a dog or a cat.) If it falls apart in a couple months, I'll be back to complain about it, but so far, so good. I aired it out for half an hour before putting it on the floor, and it doesn't have any lasting plastic smell that I notice. After two weeks of using it, it seems to lay flat, no folds or ridges, though they were there at first. Your mileage may vary, but for $30, I'm happy with it. Read more
I have an office chair that rolls too easily. So much so that it rolls away from my desk when I leave the chair unattended. I also noticed that I was always having to scooch my chair towards the desk even when sitting in it. The office floor is obviously uneven. Theis chair mat solved both of these issues for me and it also looks nice. It's pretty thin but provides enough friction to prevent the runaway chair and I'm finding I do less scooching of the chair while I'm sitting in it. I'm sure it also protects the floor, but with our hard surface office floor this has not been an issue. Read more
Like I said, the rug is great but the way it was packaged seems to have permanently creased the rug in a way that cannot be undone. I have done everything I can to flatten the rug but there is one strip down the middle that bubbles and will not lay flat, because it was creased/rolled weirdly in the packaging. Read more
