5/5 Rating Anker makes great electronic devices. This is no exception. This wireless phone stand and earphoens charger is top notch. My only gripe is that it seems exclusively made for Apple devices. I have a Samsung Ultra. It does seem to work and it super fast charges but it does not fast at the maximum capcity as it does with Apple. It also does not heat up as much which is an added benefit. Overall great charger, especially if you have Apple devices. As expected from Anker, it’s well built, dependable, and performs exactly as advertised, with just one small design choice that keeps it from being perfect. The MagSafe charging for the iPhone is excellent. The magnetic alignment is strong and precise, so the phone snaps into place easily and stays there without slipping. Qi2-certified 15W fast charging works reliably, and charging speeds are consistent and stable. Whether the phone is in use or just sitting idle, it holds securely and charges without overheating or random disconnects. The stand design itself is very well thought out. It has a clean, minimal look that fits nicely on a nightstand, desk, or countertop without taking up much space. The viewing angle is comfortable for checking notifications, using StandBy mode, watching videos, or taking FaceTime calls. It feels sturdy and weighted properly, so it doesn’t tip or slide when placing or removing the phone. The second charging spot for AirPods is convenient and works well from a functional standpoint. Drop your AirPods Pro on the pad and they charge as expected. Charging is consistent, and there’s no fiddling required once you find the sweet spot. That said, this is where the one real drawback shows up. It would have been much nicer if the AirPods charging area were magnetic. A magnetic hold would have added reassurance that the AirPods are properly aligned and staying in place, especially for people who move things around frequently. Even without a power adapter included, the charger performs well as long as you pair it with a proper high-wattage USB-C adapter. This is a great charging stand. I first purchased this when I upgraded my phone and no longer shared the same lightning port as my AirPods. I didn’t want to have 2 different cables on my desk so I opted for this stand to charge both. The magnet for the phone is extremely strong and charges quickly. It also has good rotation and movement so you can watch things on your phone at different angles The AirPods charger is usually perfect. The charging area is a little divot the exact shape and size of an AirPods case so if you have any plastic cases or accessories for yours, you will need to remove it to charge them. Occasionally, if the AirPods get knocked in a position that is not perfectly aligned with the divot, the light that indicates the AirPods are charging will blink continuously. Fixing this is extremely easy, just remove your phone and AirPods from the stand for like 2 seconds until all the lights turn off and then put it back on. It happens if you’re yanking your phone on and off the stand to interact with it. This causes your AirPods to shift in the little charging divot and interrupts the charging. But as I mentioned, it takes 2 seconds to fix this. It really isn’t a big deal. Especially if you keep this on your desk at work when you aren’t going to be interacting with your phone that much. As far as charging capability for the AirPods, I use my headphones several hours a day every single day. I charge them only 2-3 days a week for a couple hours. I never need any additional charging outside of the few hours a week it’s sitting on the charger on my desk. So I would say it does a pretty good job! Read more
