Perfect power strip & surge protector for my 4 3D printers that are in a rack system. So far I've had zero issues with the printers working. I don't suggest heating up all 4 at once but I've done 2 without any issues of anything getting hot. I've had great luck with Anker products. All the plugs plugin super easy to, just the right amount to hold them in. The black plastic housing seems pretty thick and durable. The price point is perfect, I didn't want to spend a ton but also wanted reliability and a known brand name. It's nice having a bunch of plugs in different orientations so that I can plug in a few devices with larger plugs. It's also really nice that it has a USB-C plug so that I don't need to keep switching my phone and watch off the same brick. I just leave the watch charger plugged into the power strip and it fast charges. Purchased this at the end of September 2025, it's now late January 2026. For the past two weeks the USB-A ports have not been working properly. As of today, neither will charge anything. I'm going to try to reach out to Anker before adjusting my start. Update 2-7-2026: I reached out to Anker support on Saturday 1/31/2026. I received a response via email early on the monring of Sunday 2/1/2026. They apologized and offered to send a replacement of the same power strip. I happily accepted. I received the package on Wednesday 2/4/2026 and set it up the next morning. The very first thing I checked were the two USB-A plugs, and neither worked. I flipped the switch to power the strip off, waited a couple minutes, then turned it back on. Then the USB-A plugs started working. I reached back out to Anker support in the evening on Thursday 2/5/2026 and told them what happened. I told them that I do not believe this can not be an isolated incident as it's happened to two of the same model, only difference being that with the new one it happened immediately, but with the first one it was about four months before any issues arose. I also asked if they could either replace with a different, less expensive power strip that will hopefully not have this issue. I just heard back from Anker support this evening, 2/7/2026. They said: "we will arrange for a replacement model A9183 to be provided to you, based on your needs. However, our Quality Engineers have requested to have the troubled device returned to them so that they may investigate the origin of the defect to improve our product. Any replacement process will only commence after the inspection is completed and the contents of the package are verified. Once your replacement is shipped, you should receive it within 5-7 working days." I'm on the east coast, this is going to Cali via USPS. I'm guessing I'll be getting a different power strip in March. For those wondering, "if you just need to power off the strip and power it back up, whats the issue". I needed a power strip that could accommodate a lot of plugs. We travel with them so we don't want to buy anything too fancy that might get lost or "borrowed", but don't want to risk buying a knockoff of questionable quality. I've had good luck with Anker products and this one has been no exception. It works well and is lightweight and durable enough to withstand constant travel and being packed in a crate with a bunch of equipment. I can't speak as to the surge protection. It claims 2100 Joules which is fine for a power strip, but I won't know if it truly works unless we take a lightning hit. For now, I'l have to take their word for it. I like that it has slots on back if to make it easy to permanently install it on a wall or desk. All in all, a good value for the money. Read more

I was looking for a safe, reliable surge protector/power strip that could be mounted on the wall and could also accommodate the ginormous blocks that charging cables have. This item fills the bill. This power strip works perfectly fine. It has enough outlets to do what I needed it to do even though certain devices do cover up other openings (an Amazon Smart Plug as an example - it covers at least two outlets and where I had to position it on the strip it's actually covering three, including the one it's plugged into). I also found that I'm limited with only the 2 USB outlets. Not the power strip's fault as it is very clear how many they have, but just a reminder for others to really think about what your requirements are before buying any of these. Read more
