Long-time user of Anker products. They perform well, they're cleverly designed, and reasonably priced. This new 45W charger is just brilliant. I bought one a month ago, liked it so much I bought more - for my wife, my dad, and another for myself. This 45W Anker Nano recognizes the charging needs of whatever device you plug into it and adapts to it. I have an iPhone 17 Pro, an M4 Macbook Air, and a M4 iPad Pro, and the Anker charges all of them quickly. Also, the Anker by default reduces the charging speed a little before the device's battery is fully charged, which prolongs the longevity of the device's battery. When this product was first announced and reviewed on tech websites, the screen seemed like a gimmick. But now that I have the charger, I really like the screen. It displays useful information, like how much power it's delivering to my devices in real time. Lastly, it's super functional. It is smaller and weighs less than any 45W charger I've ever seen, and smaller than some of Anker's slightly older 30W chargers. Also, I love that the prongs can not only fold into the device to make it more easily portable, but can be set at two different angles, allowing easy access to the USB-C port and the display no matter where you plug in the charger. This plug is incredible, it charges my 17 Pro Max fast, is nice and small for portability, and isn’t terribly overpriced. Now, because this is an Anker GaN II, it’s incredibly efficient while charging just as fast as larger (and hotter) plugs. Nice and compact 45W charging brick. The multi position folding plug that tucks away for storage/transport is very helpful. I like that I can use it to position the usb-c port in whatever direction is most convenient (top, bottom, or straight out). I don't really need a smart display but its a nice added feature. The charger doesn't heat up too much and its solidly built. I have no concerns about quality. Overall, priced right for a simple single port 45W charger that's found a permanent home in my tech edc. It's a solidly built USB power supply, and for the price a compelling choice. I've generally had good luck with Anker stuff and this hasn't disappointed. Really small for 45W. Other notes: The screen is genuinely a useful feature, and the graphics are fun. The 'phone identification' thing is neat, for an iPhone 17 it shows the actual battery charge percentage. It is limited in compatibility though. I've used it with a number of devices including a recent Samsung Galaxy, and only the iPhone was recognized. With that said, even when it doesn't recognize the charged device it shows power output in watts, from which you can infer if the device is charging and roughly how fast. Read more

Quite impressive overall. It's a 45w charger which is smaller than most 10w chargers. The display is cute, BUT only takes up half of the face. Anker used a black piece of plastic to conceal this. I'm mostly in Android land, minus my iPad for Foreflight, so I don't get all of the goodies. The screen doesn't show my phone's battery life nor how much time is remaining to charge. BUT, it still does show wattage and how hot the charger is running. It will put out 45w for a decent amount of time. I haven't torture-tested it yet, but after 30 minutes it was still pumping out 45w continuous to one of my power banks. It even powers my Lenovo X1 Carbon quite well. Small enough to put in your jeans pocket if need be, and if you're an iPhone user, you probably need to. If so, this is the charger for you. I wish they did more with the display. It's a nice display, even if small. And so many opportunities to do something with it. Like a mAh/time counter, voltage/amp display, etc. I'm pretty sure the hardware could do it. Perhaps for a future version. In that case, nevermind, as I already have Anker's 100w, 140w, and 160w display chargers and don't need another one...my wife would kill me if I bought more. Read more
