Anker USB C Hub 5-in-1 USB C Power Adapter with 4K HDMI SD and microSD Card Reader 2

There’re millions of USB hubs out there in the market, it’s really hard to find the right one that suits my style. Until recently I decided to give it a shot about Anker 5-in-1 USB-C Hub, it totally exceeded my expectations and blew other similar products out of the water. Not only the product has very elegant design, but also has everything that you should look for in terms of durability, transportability, and necessity. Not to mention it also comes with a protective travel pouch that prevents any damage and dust, it’s totally bang for the buck!!!! As a college student who uses a Macbook on daily basis, this product is very essential and useful when it comes to projects and homework assignments. As it comes with 2 USB-A Ports, 1 HDMI port, 1 SD card port and 1 MicroSD card port, the all-in-one adapter definitely can fulfill everything you desire. You won’t have any issues with this USB-C! It’s really small and easy to transport with your pocket or even a laptop case. It’s small enough that it doesn’t even give you eye sore when using your laptop. The space grey color is also a perfect fit for someone who owns a Macbook! I’m sure you won’t regret buying it. This is a great USB-C hub for MacBooks. Firstly, the dongle itself feels very premium (metal), yet it is small enough to be taken on the go. Next, the USB-A connections (2 on the device) are decently powered, and run anything without dropped power issues. Similarly, the HDMI connection is rock solid, and runs extremely smoothly (highest I have seen it go is 75hz, but it may go higher, not sure). It does get a bit warm, but only when everything is plugged in, and I have not had any issues in 3 years, on both of the dongles that I have bought. Read more

At long last, somebody had made a quality USB-C adapter with a few USB-A 3.0 ports, SD & Micro SD card slots and just for laughs, an HDMI input. No surprise that it was Anker that pulled it off. The adapter itself is very well built, unlike many other adapters sold on Amazon and even Apple’s own chintzy ones. The cable is relatively thick and seems like it will hold up over time and with a length of 1/2 a foot. A bit too long IMO, but I’d rather have a bit more cable length than less. Speeds on all ports are as fast as can be and the HDMI port worked with no stutters on a 1080p TV outputting a full length movie. The USB ports are only meant for data, not for power. If I had to knock it, it’d have to be for the lack of Ethernet, but Anker makes a few different adapters with such a port if you need one.Theres also no pass through power on this adapter, so if you’re using this on a device with limited ports (i.e MacBook, iPad Pro, phone) you’d probably be better off ponying up the extra cash for the adapter that does include it so you can juice up and use the adapter simultaneously. As it stands, for ~$25, you’d be hard pressed to find a better product from a reputable company, especially if you don’t need Ethernet or pass through power. Read more

I've always ordered Anker's 3rd party products and have never had an issue with them before. The product itself was well made and served its purpose. I believe my problem with it was the compatibility with my computer. I have a Samsung Galaxy Book and for some reason it would drain battery SO FAST when I had it hooked up to an extra monitor. It drained so quickly, in fact, that even when I had my computer charging it would still drain the battery, just much slower. I was afraid it was going to eventually fry my computer. I now have the Samsung brand multi-port adapter (was NOT trying to spend $90 on one of these things which is why I picked up this one in the first place :( )and it doesn't have this problem. The phone/tech industry has changed quite a bit in the last ten years. Apple doesn't provide cables and accessories with their phones anymore when you purchase them. When they did the quality wasn't the best. There exist hundreds, if not, thousands of aftermarket products available to consumers for their tech/charging needs. I found Anker last year and absolutely LOVE the products. They WORK for one thing, no one wants to buy a product that doesn't work. Secondly, they work well - great quality, durability and the best service. I had a minor issue with this cord I purchased and submitted a claim to Anker. They never questioned me once and immediately processed my claim for a replacement cord. NO HASSLES! Within one week I had a replacement cord for my wife in hand. The customer service rep, Nina, even followed up with me after receiving my cord to ask if everything was in order as expected. I couldn't believe it. A company in 2020 that cares that much they follow up with you after the fact. SIMPLY THE BEST! I APPLAUD YOU ANKER! Thank you for TRULY valuing your customer base. I have purchased many of the ANKER products. While they may run a little more in cost than some of the JUNK competitors out there, ALWAYS know - you get what you pay for!!! I am one who prefers to buy a little better quality product for this very reason! I recently purchased a 2018 MacBook Pro. I now had the problem of just having USB-C ports, I have purchased cables and a power bank from them before and they have been great, so I decided to head to their website and noticed they now sold USB-C Hubs, so I decided to buy one that suited my needs, USB-A ports, a HDMI port, and a SD card slot. It was also fairly priced compared to the competitors. The Hub came with the Hub itself and little travel case. I have had the product for about two months now and it has been great. The Hub is built well, expect it is a little light for me, but that can be said as an advantage since I travel a fair amount with it. Overall I would highly recommend the product, the USB speeds were well. The HDMI port worked great a so did the SD card slot. Overall it is another great quality product form Anker! Read more
