This Anker USB-C hub is designed well. This is perfect for my on-the-go WFH setup. I am currently using this to hold my external monitor when using my work laptop or iPad Pro. I love that this is a hub integrated into an iPad stand. Hinges are solid, this thing is not budging without some force. The charging DOES work. You will need a power supply that provides 45W minimum because the hub requires power as well as the device that’s connected. So here is the problem I have noticed. There seems to be a good bit of complaints about the charging not working. If you have attempted by using the required power, the problem is the provided cable. I figured this out when I switched to a Thunderbolt 3 cable that I had. Everything worked, including the charging. This leads me to believe the provided cable is defective, also because this cable does not seem to be sold separately. If the cable worked, I would have given this 5 stars. For the time being, I will leave it at 3 stars. Reason being is the price. For $100, the cable provided should work. Anker has been contacted. I will update this review once they resolve this issue. Update: It was determined that the cable was the cause. Anker sent a replacement cable with no problems and it worked. I am still using this hub stand for external monitors with no issues. Because Anker worked with me on this and the product works 100%, I now give it 5 stars. So if you have an issue with charging, it is the cable. Hopefully this gets corrected. Read more

The included USB C to C cable was dead on arrival, which isn't a big deal for me, but the size of the cable was just right for the size of the stand, which sucks that all of my other cables are longer. All of my other C to C cables worked just fine though, the only difference is the cable length. Other than that, the stand is extremely well made. The hinge is strong and tight, it can take a little bit of muscle to open and close the stand, but I'd rather it be a little too strong than not strong enough. The base of the stand is a little bigger than I expected, the width of the base is almost equal to the height of my iPhone 13 (base model). It hurts the portability a tiny bit, but it's still pretty compact, enough to where the size doesn't hinder my daily use at all. The weight is a tiny bit much though, it's pretty heavy. But again, I'd rather it be a little on the heavy side than too much on the light side; I want my iPad to be nice and safe in it, without fear that the stand is going to fall over. The ports on it are also great. Once you connect the C to C cable to your device, the indicator light should be glowing, and all of the ports just work. The audio sounds great, and powers my HD 560S perfectly. Every other port works exactly as you'd expect. I was also able to plug in my microSD card, and use samples perfectly fine in Koala and VividTracker, via audiocopy. I got this on sale for about 60 dollars and it is an absolute no-brainer steal for that price. Better built than the vast majority of other USB hubs at that price, not including that fact that it's also a stand. If you want an all-in-one solution like this, look nowhere else. This is where it's at. Read more

This iPad stand is fantastic! The PD input powers the stand and is great for charging the iPad. Make sure you have an adequate charger. I plugged in HDMI to a 3440x1440 monitor, and it worked flawlessly in both Mirror and Extended modes. My mouse and keyboard also worked perfectly when plugged into the USB ports. I plugged in my headphones using the 3.5mm port, and they worked just as well. I bought this Used-Like New to save some money and it looks and feels untouched. I recommend using the supplied USB-C cable between the stand and the iPad, because I couldn’t get any other high bandwidth cable to work properly. Read more

This hub is great for my iPad Pro 11 (2022), easy to use. I bought it for $49, which is a great value. Sturdy, premium looking with its elegant gray. I wish it was magnetic, but I guess we cannot have everything. Literally have no complaints but one: it should have a way to hold or put the cable away when it is not being used. It pains me every time I hear the usb bumping against the metal. Using a strap is recommended. Read more
