I am very tough to please when it comes to cookware and knives I am a gourmet cook and these knives are amazing. They are very sharp, they are comfortable to hold and they are Aesthetically pleasing. The en bloc sharpener works really well and the block itself is beautiful wood. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. I honestly have not used any of my other knives since I bought this set.
