My five star rating is based on the item itself not particularly on how well it's suited me. First of all the fabric is lovely, it's heavy enough not to be clingy or seem cheap but lightweight enough that it's not stiff - it is very soft - and it moves well. It does not wrinkle at all. It looks like a dress but it feels like a nightgown. The slit is high up on the leg - I'm not sure if that's good or bad but it is a rather high slit - up to the knee for me. The color is a very nice, soft navy blue. I am 5 ft tall and weigh about 135 lb and small fits very nicely, it's not too tight, has room to move around and feel comfortable doesn't cling too much but it's not boxy or sloppy looking. Having said that I am not sure that I would wear this out as a dress because it does have rather a nightgown feel and look to it but you could wear it out as a dress. My personal problem is that while the length is fine and the fit is fine and even the sleeves are fine the shoulder seams, which are not raglan shoulders, come way down on my arms and so it looks kind of sloppy and like it doesn't really fit me. I like it well enough that I thought about buying another one in another color. It is certainly worth the price I paid.. It is comfortable to wear around the house and while you feel relaxed you don't feel sloppy or undressed. This is like a long, soft tee shirt, only nicer looking. It was so comfortable. I wore it to teach in, with white tennis shoes. Dress it up for later with heels. It has a hoochie-mama slit (no one wants to see my old legs) so I sewed it closed which was very easy the way the sewed it. It’s very well made. Shoulder seams are just off-shoulder. Besides the slit being a bit high on the side, which I fixed myself, due to it needing a slip underneath and the slip showing, I LOVE THIS DRESS! It’s a comfortable throw on which can be dressed up or down! I’m 5’3” and weigh 167 and bought an XL. My weight is distributed evenly throughout my body, as I’m more of a rectangle shape.
