If I had to choose one word for this cover‑up, it would be “delicate.” The crochet knit is genuinely lovely, but it’s the kind of fabric that will absolutely lose its shape if you don’t treat it with care. The Seller says “machine wash cold,” but I would only risk that if the garment is secured inside a mesh wash bag; otherwise, hand washing is the safer choice. “Dry flat” is also non‑negotiable. The weight of the water the threads absorb will stretch the knit if you hang it to dry. Once it’s fully dry, I recommend storing it folded in a drawer. Leaving it on a hanger will almost certainly distort the shape over time. The front fastener is made of a very lightweight plastic and is sewn in place. I can’t speak to how well it will hold up with regular use. The long bell sleeves are great for avoiding mid‑arm tan lines, and the overall length is exactly what I expect from a beach cover‑up — breezy, easy, and modest enough for walking around a resort or pool deck. I ordered this in my usual medium, and the fit is loose just about everywhere, which is also as expected. My only hesitation is the price. At just under $30, it feels a bit steep for something this fragile. It’s pretty but based on the construction and the nature of the knit, I don’t see it lasting beyond a single season.
