I ordered these pants because - who doesn't need linen pants for the summer? I thought they looked great on the model! I was truly expecting 100% linen. These pants are only 8% linen and 92% polyester. However, I will say that they definitely give full linen a run for their money! These fully lined pants can easily pass for true linen. They certainly wrinkle like linen (not necessarily a bad thing), and they have all the little imperfections you expect to see in a linen weave. I ordered the cream color because that's my favorite linen shade. Overall, these pants are outstanding. I'm not a huge fan of the wide leg fashion these days; however, in giving it a shot I think it's okay with pants like these. They definitely flow! As I mentioned earlier, they look great on the model. What I do not care for in real life, however, is the elastic waistband. It's comfortable enough, but the look just gives me a feeling of "old people pants" - if that's a thing. I guess that is yet another fashion trend that I need to try and wrap my head around. I was around the first time it was popular, and I didn't understand it then either. Lol! Overall, for the price you do get a good quality pair of linen pants. I love the silky lining and the high quality of the construction. I think the design leaves a bit to be desired, but if you like what you see, that's pretty much what you get. Sorry my pics aren't that great but I wanted to show how these are so comfy that you can wear them to just relax at home but you could also very easily dress them up with a black shirt or body suit and cute shoes! I had my fingers crossed that the elastic waist would be ok and not look like old lady pants (no offense to ladies older than me...I'm picturing my grandmother's pants that were pure polyester). Anyway, I like that the fabric is designed to gather around the really substantial elastic - that does NOT get twisted at all btw! My tummy is my hardest area to get in shape but I took a risk and got these in a small (seem to be between a small and medium now.) The wait band looks intentionally ruched (sp?) ao that is a huge score in my book. Here are some I other important takeaways: 1. They have pockets. Deep ones that fit keys or a phone in a pinch. Not a good look but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do and with these you can! 2. I'm 5'2", 145, and if I put these at my natural waits the elastic is a bit uncomfortable. I am wearing them down around my mid to low waist in this picture. The Medium probably would have been the right call. All that said, when they are at my natural waist, they are about a 30 inch inseam because they hit the top of my foot which is do-able for me. I'm short so if you're tall, just know these would be more like classic palazzo plants and more of ann ankle style. 3. they say they are linen but the material has more weight to it and can work as a transition item from summer to fall or spring to summer. I'm definitely getting black in a Medium and would honestly wear them on a mild winter day. For today I just feel good wearing them instead of sweats. I always want to look nice but be comfy and these deliver on both. I think these would look great for any vacation with like a a cute white shirt. floppy hat, chic sunglasses and some current cute comfy sandals and some statement earrings! Just so versatile! Pictures do not do them justice. Highly recommended! Oh ps - there is a fair amount of cool piping on the paints like what you see halfway up the leg and on the sides - they have almost a refined cargo feel to them. Wide legged pants are all the rage and after wearing these pants their popularity is certainly understandable. These have an airy flow with each step I take and the soft, silky fabric skims my skin in feathery, cloud like, lightness. It’s such a freeing feeling. Luscious linen pants are a must have for every woman’s closet. However, pure linen wrinkles so badly that they’re hard to deal with. Not with these pants! The perfect blend of rayon/linen ensures a non wrinkly, wearable, linen pant that comes out of the dryer (air setting) with no wrinkles and no need for ironing. They passed my sitting test too, no wrinkles after sitting at my desk for a few hours. The elastic waist is wide and stays in place without bunching. Dress them up or down. These pants can go from the beach to dinner with the right tops. The cost? A bargain for such impeccable style, fabric, and ease of wear. I bought these wide leg linen boho pants because I wanted something that would be both comfortable and stylish, and overall they deliver. The material feels very nice and breathable, making them cool and comfortable to wear for long periods. I really appreciate that they have pockets, which are always a plus. The elastic waistband makes them easy to slip on and off and adds to the overall comfort. I am 5’2” and these pants are very high waisted on me. I can roll the waistband down once for a better fit, and the length works as long as I pull them up high or wear a heel. While I do wish they were not quite so high waisted, they still look good and are flattering once adjusted. The army green color with the wide leg detail is very attractive and easy to style. These pants feel like good quality linen for the price and are versatile enough to wear most of the year except during the colder winter months. Read more
