This item really does help if you have dandruff, but the effect is not permanent I am not certain it has "antifungal" capability to acne-type issues of scalp The product has a gritty consistency and does not lather well. It is very crumbly and hard to massage thoroughly into your scalp. It is also not a shampoo or conditioner.
