I have several different massage tools, which I use often, but I’ve never seen one so compact as this one. It’s so tiny, I wondered if it would have the power needed to loosen tight muscles, but I wanted to give it a try anyway and this mini massager did not disappoint. The ANUMITRA Pocket Mini Massage tool comes nicely secured in the retail box lined with foam that will make a great storage container for when it’s not in use. Included are the compact massager, three silicone tips in various shapes, and a 19” USB-C charging cord. The initial charge took about an hour and my little machine was ready to go. The black silicone tips slip right on the motorized flat tip of the machine and all of them fit snugly, providing a few options to meet different needs. Operation is quite simple. Long press the only button and the machine turns on. Short press that same singular button and the intensity and speed increases. There are 4 levels to choose from. Even on the lowest setting, this little thing offers quite a punch. It runs strong, steady and powerful and rivals the strength of my other massagers that are ten times its size. I was very impressed! My favorite tip is the pointed one because it’s very narrow at the end. This allows me to pinpoint the vibration to the area right below my thumb on my right palm. I spend a lot of time typing on my phone and that area gets sore and stiff on a daily basis. Having a small, targeted tip allows me to loosen that muscle tension with just a few minutes of use. The tips attach firmly and I’ve yet to have one come off during use, even on the highest level of vibration. A handy wrist strap is attached to the unit for added stability. The small size will make this a definite must for travel as I can see it being useful for sore muscles after a long day of sightseeing. It’s pretty quiet and I’d estimate it to be about as loud as my electric toothbrush. It’s made from a thick durable plastic, feeling very solid and well constructed. This has a little weight to it. The unit holds a charge for a long time and I’ve been using it several times a day over the past week and have not needed to recharge it yet. I’m so pleased with this unit. It’s offers an incredibly strong massage and the price is fantastic. I can use it anytime I want because of its low volume and compact size. I’m planning to purchase a second unit to give my mom for Mother’s Day. In fact, I can’t think of a single person in my life that wouldn’t appreciate this as it makes a very thoughtful, useful gift for both men and women alike. Read more
To give some size reference to my attached photos, my hands are quite small with my fingers ranging in size from ring size 2 to 6. This mini massager fits well in my hands, but is very very small in my husband's much larger hands (ring finger size is 11.5). As such, I think it could end up being a bit hard to hold onto for some people, but your mileage may vary on the front depending on hand size and strength. The little wrist strap works well though in case you do drop it while using it, much like a certain popular video game console's controllers that required you to move around. I was a bit surprised to see that this didn't come with any sort of user manual or instruction sheet. There was a nice little thank you print out from the seller inside, but nothing else besides the 3 attachments and a charging cord. Speaking of the attachments, they're quite comfortable to use, but don't try to pull the flat head off like did as they're not replaceable heads, just bits that you slip on over that flat head. It does take both hands to get those rubbery covers on, but they're easy enough to pull off and swap out as needed. I don't think it came across well in my video, but the little light bar above the control button actually has four little pips on it that indicate the strength of the current setting. There's a nice range here between the four settings and when you reach the highest setting, it'll cycle back around to the lowest setting if you press the button again. Besides the lack of a manual, my only other quibble about this mini massager is that it might have been nice for it to come with something like a drawstring bag to keep the massager and the different attachments in. It's clearly well suited for travel or at least keeping with you on the go, so a storage option of sorts would have been nice. Read more
The media could not be loaded. Overall great. Here is just a small (no pun intended) issue. Most of the time I could care less about a case for different things, but for this one, I think that a pouch that you could keep the accessories and the massager together would have been beneficial. Now for the good things. I have a larger massage gun that I use frequently. The problem with that one and probably 90% of the ones you purchase is the your wrist is down on a handle and the percussion force can become uncomfortable and tiresome. I struggle to use an analogy, but if you have ever used a massage gun, I will assume you know. I typically will move my hand to other parts of the gun to reduce weariness. The benefit of this mini gun is that it fits in the palm of your hand. That allows a direct control without your wrist getting tired. I have used this several times and have found it to be much more enjoyable to use. My favorite attachment is the bullet head. I have a little tennis elbow issue and this has helped provide relief. Placing the massage gun in my non dominant hand was still easy to control because again it is in the palm of your hand and not holding a handle. For me the next favorite is the round shape head then the u shape, but your situation could be different. You can use it without a head attachment too, but if you accidentally hit bone, that doesn't feel good at all. The battery life appears to be really good. I don't know how many massage sessions I have done, but I haven't worried about battery life. Plus with USB C, you can charge it anywhere. Okay, one other small now pun intended issue. The wrist strap is difficult to put on if you have around xl hands. Just a FYI. Read more
