This is a great unit, very well designed. Not only does it provide more USB and HDMI ports, it is designed to hold the Mac mini on edge, making the power button accessible (probably improving cooling as well). I have also installed a Samsung SSD drive in the Hub, easy to install, works flawlessly. Read more

Simple to connect to Mac mini. Appreciate the bottom air grill snaps open and the M2 SSD inserts using a silicon plug. Remains cool to touch. Speed are OK for backups by USB 3.0 and the USB C ports are plenty fast. Solid, well built, and great airflow. Read more

The Mac Mini is powerful but port-shy, and the ANYOYO Dock is the perfect solution that looks like it came straight from Apple's factory. The color match and footprint are identical to the Mac Mini, making the dock disappear visually while adding a massive amount of utility. The headline feature is the NVMe SSD enclosure in the base; I popped in a 2TB drive and instantly expanded my storage for video editing without having a loose drive hanging off a cable. The port selection is generous, adding essential front-facing USB-A ports that Apple sadly omits, along with SD card slots. The 40Gbps throughput means there is zero lag when transferring large files. Pros: Seamless Design: Matches the Mac Mini M4 aesthetic perfectly. Storage Expansion: Built-in M.2 NVMe slot allows for fast, hidden external storage. Front Access: Brings USB ports to the front for easy flash drive access. Dual HDMI: Supports high-resolution displays at 60Hz. Cons: SSD Heat: High-speed drives can get warm, though the aluminum case helps dissipate heat. Speed Limits: Ensure you use the correct cable to get the full 40Gbps speed. Read more

Awesome little dock. The 2 HDMI ports work perfect with 2 32 inch 4k monitors plugged. And unlike all the sub $100 docks it’s truly tb4 speeds to the nvme ssd slot. It’s faster than the 256 gb ssd that came with the mini. I replaced the 256 ssd with a 2 tb ssd and put a 2 tb ssd in the nvme slot giving me 4tb of fast ssd. Everything I had plugged into hubs and dongles is plugged in this dock using just 1 tb4 port on the mini. Personally I don’t think it could be any better. Highly recommend ! Read more

If you are not familiar with Amazon Vine, it is basically Amazon trading free* products for honest reviews. You see a lot of Vine reviews that are cookie cutter and based on templates. I aim to make my reviews honest and non-cookie cutter (other than this intro and disclaimer). * These items are not actually free as Vine members pay income tax on the items they receive. Therefore, I will never order something from Vine unless I actually intend to use it. I think this is important for readers to understand because it means I will never order an item just to provide a fake five star review to a company. If I review something as good, it means I actually enjoyed using it or it fills its intended purpose correctly. Items that don't meet my expectations will be reviewed accordingly. Why I ordered this item: We have an M4 Mac Mini that I bought as a media PC. Our new TV has media functions built-in, so I am repurposing that computer as a desktop for my wife. The Mini we have has a small SSD and not enough ports so we needed a dock and this was a perfect fit. Likes: * Being able to add an NVMe SSD is a gamechanger. I had a 2TB drive I pulled out of a computer a few years ago sitting around and now it's being used by the Mini! That's a $$$ upgrade if you get it from Apple, and in this case the drive is not permanently soldered to the computer. This function alone is worth the cost of of the dock, even if the drive is capped at 2800MB/s. * Build quality is excellent as you would expect at this price point. The design looks awesome. * The USB ports on the dock are all extremely fast. * Being able to connect two monitors is awesome, especially since Apple-based Macs have always had an issue with more generic docking stations. No likes: * None Would I pay full price for this product: Yes Final thoughts: This dock has a TON of functionality built-in at its price point of around $130 after coupon. This is a great value-add to a Mac Mini that won't break the bank. Read more

High quality 40gbps Mac Mini dock and I put it to the test. I have a Gen4 2tb M.2 and I used a 80GBPS USB4 cable and got 38GBPS consistently. I think I would get the 40+ if I had a Gen 5 drive but this is a good enough test to confirm the dock does what it says. It's super simple to plug in the M.2, just pull the bottom piece of as it's held to the base by a strong magnet and then slide the M.2 in and put the bottom piece back onto the base and you are done. Fully screwless design! Tri Monitor setup is simple with the 2 HDMI ports and you can easily plug in your Mouse and keyboard into the USB 2.0 ports and then plug in your beefy devices into the 2 USB 10 GBPS ports. Read more

**Pros** * **40Gbps USB-C connection** delivers fast, stable performance for demanding workflows * Integrated **M.2 NVMe SSD enclosure** is a huge upgrade for Mac mini storage expansion * **Dual HDMI 4K@60Hz** support works well for dual-monitor setups * Plenty of ports: **4× USB-A 3.1 (10Gbps)** plus **2× USB-A 2.0** for peripherals * **Wi-Fi–friendly design** avoids signal degradation (a common issue with metal docks) * Solid **aluminum build** that matches Apple’s industrial design and stacks cleanly under the Mac mini **Cons** * Expensive at **$170** compared to simpler docks * HDMI limited to 4K@60Hz (no high-refresh support) * NVMe drive not included * Dock footprint adds some desk height **Conclusion** A premium, well-engineered dock that effectively turns the Mac mini M4 into a full desktop workstation. Pricey, but the combination of high-speed connectivity, clean design, and built-in SSD expansion makes it a strong choice for power users who want a single, integrated solution. Read more
