Better flow than Aquasana
Bought this filter accidentally when trying to get a replacement for our Aquasana same design filter system. Turns out this filter does not fit the Aquasana head (three tabs are smaller and more compact). Good news is this filter came with the correct head and all new connectors. I was able to trim the current Aquasana piping to just slide into the compression holes in this ao smith head and no leaks. Better news, this filter flows AT LEAST 3x stronger than our Aquasana did. Not sure if “basic filtration” is the same level of cleanliness but we’re happy to be able to fill a glass of water in under two minutes so we’re okay with it. Ps I think Aquasana stopped making this filter style so this is your new choice moving forward. It works fine and no clouding or taste issues.👍🏻 Read more

one small part fail equals useless filter system
put this filter aside until i we got to replacing the sink and counter (so we’ll out of return window)… frustratingly, the threading on the plastic connector piece quickly stripped and was unable to connect to the faucet supply. after receiving a replacement, the same issue. soft plastic threading stripped and makes the entire unit unusable.
