Great little lamps, charging issues though
I absolutely love these little lamps despite their quirks. I love the dial to adjust the brightness. I couldn’t get a touch lamp because my cat walks across my nightstand and would turn it on and off all night. They put off lovely warm white light and have a great range from dim enough right before bed to bright enough to not have to use overhead light. However, I have recently noticed an issue. When I plug my phone into the usb-C port just via cord it charges just fine. If I plug my charging station (watch, airpods, phone) into the usb-C port though, it charges my watch fine but drains the battery on my phone. I thought it was a fluke but its done it several nights in a row. Not sure if it just can’t put out enough amperage or what. So just something to keep in mind. I will try plugging a base into the outlets on it to power my charging station. Read more
Lamps give light and electricity well
Purchasing these lamps was very important because they were going to be placed in my bedroom. The previous lamps had been there for a long time and we were looking to spice things up and change the ambience of our bedroom. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived and I’m actually looking at one right now as I write this review. The base is solid and feels like brushed metal. The two charging ports on the front can accommodate both types of USB plugs, they are very close together in an ergonomically pleasing fashion. The ON/OFF switch is a dial that allows the lamp to be set at various types of brightness. There is a plug on the back that you can use for many things that need electricity. There’s actually two of them now that I’m looking at it, which I did not realize before. The actual light that emits from this lamp is a nice yellow natural flavor. At its brightest, I can easily read or take care of tasks that require a certain amount of light. It dims down to almost nothing, which is nice because if your partner is trying to sleep you can still have some light on your side of the bed. Ultimately, I am happy with this purchase. Being able to adjust the light from very dim to very bright is an excellent feature; all of the various charging ports make it helpful to plug things in next to the bed or wherever you happen to put this lamp. These lamps are GREAT !!! A great value. So inexpensive and So NICE. I got these when my 6 year old grandson came to stay with me so he could have them on the end tables in the living room for his tablet- which he’s on way too much. It has worked out great. I put them together at my moms house and she loved them and ordered a set immediately as my brother and his family were coming to stay with her for a week. They arrived next day and we set them up in the bedroom and they looked amazing. Simple to set up. A grandmom hooked up 2 sets. The dimmer is an awesome feature. Can be bright or like a night light. the lamp is good, but the problem is the base. the base is basically a piece of foam and a metal plate. adding a pwm or non pwm switch would make this much better and an actual screw attach base that is better protected than a piece of cheap sticker foam Read more
