The waistband does not roll down, even while working out. They are nice enough to wear outside of the gym. The leggings support my mid-section and hug me ‘just enough’. I’ve washed these several times and they are still vibrant, soft and pill free. They have a thick fabric and are not see through. They are stretchy and compress from waist to ankle. When they say buttery soft, they mean buttery soft. The material is very nice and soft, thick enough that it is not see through, but also breathable. I wore these for a full day walking around disney and had no issues with them. They are flattering and true to size. A little on the stretchier side, so no crazy compression to worry about. I like that it has the colored piping details on the side. I have alot of plain black leggings, but the color makes these seem a little more fun. I did machine wash and dry these already in cold. They retained their shape and there was no shrinkage, no tears or pills or anything like that. The lack of star is really only because its missing pockets!
