I had thick water stain buildup under my glass lid. I took them off and sprayed this on. Then let it sit 10 minutes or so and it took quite a bit off. I did it 2 times with the second time using my aquarium razor to the glass. It worked pretty well Read more

Although not perfect, its a lot better than scrubbing with plain water. I left it on for about15 min before wiping with a damp sponge. It got a lot of the white crust off that repeated attempts on my part failed to do using other methods. First off you need to do an initial cleaning with white vinegar and water with a little elbow grease using a magic eraser pad. Then it will clean off the left over calcium deposits with repeated spray applications and again eraser pad. My front glass now looks great and it was very dirty after about 10 yrs . I am starting over with a 40gallon reef glass aquarium. I used a mix of 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water with a spray bottle. Just make sure the magic eraser does not contain any ingredient in it.
