I got this chair so I could enjoy being out in the cold while hubby was hunting. We tried it in the house and could feel some heat on high but once outside in the cold we could slightly feel the heat in the seat but the back I was still cold. Its cool and breezy and the real snow cold hasn’t set in that I really would rely on it for so I’m disappointed. He's a big guy at about 280 and the bar in the middle was up against his leg and not very comfortable. I was SO hoping this chair would solve my cold woes but I might as well just get a regular chair and use a heating blanket for the price. This baby is STURDY. For the size & sturdiness I am surprised that it's not too heavy, IMO, to carry. I am 5'10 and the bulkier size is not an issue for me. However, if you are shorter or have a more petite frame, I could see the potential for it being cumbersome to carry. Heats up well. The 4 stars is because I feel the picture is misleading as to where you feel the heat. I don't think I felt anything as high up as it shows here. I do wish the seating area was a few inches longer in depth so you could really lounge and lay like a regular couch but not a big deal. Easy to pack and unpack. If you stopped and looked at this chair.. buy it.. I’m only 5’1, 125 lbs..but, I like to sit Indian style or curl up under the trees and read...and this has enough room for that and to stretch out .. lots of pockets for snacks and drinks. It took me a couple tries to quickly fold it up..but once you figure it out, it's very manageable and light weight. You won’t be disappointed! Oh and it has holders for an umbrella! Read more
