I’ll start by saying I already have a rose toy, one that I spent a LOT of money on at a local store. This one is equally as good at a fraction of the price. In fact, I tested all the settings against my other rose, and all 10 settings are identical!! I really enjoy the sensation of this you, but usually only use the first 3 settings. This fits perfectly into my hand, stores easily behind my pillow, and is pretty to look at. It is a little louder than I’d like, but that’s the same for the original rose I have too. The volume changes as it’s getting into position and once it is “in position” and it can be a little distracting if I’m trying to be discrete. My partner things it’s too intense, but it’s my favorite. For the price, you can’t go wrong trying it. I'm a newbie to these items. This is just the second one I've ever had and the first one was more 'traditional' in the sense that it was a vibration device. This one looks just like my first, but a different color and .... suction. Not like a vacuum, but with pulsing suction. So many speeds. Exciting to try something totally new. But, it seems like it's louder than the other vibration device I have. It will also take some getting used to. Experimentation will be key. Otherwise, the device charges easily and mine came with plenty of charge to test the unit out. It is packaged nicely and is made of the kind of material you expect for easy cleaning. One thing that I wonder about, if this device has suction, is it ok to submerse that part while cleaning? Guess we'll find out. No photos ... not that bold.
