I was really scared about buying refurbished, but I’m glad that I did. I couldn’t justify buying a new computer when my needs were so basic. This iMac exceeded my expectations. There’s only one tiny cosmetic flaw and it’s not obvious. It works well. The keyboard and mouse are new and unused, but they’re just okay. This is a refurbished 2017 iMac, that I must say, looks like it's brand new to me. It came preloaded with macOS 10.15 Catalina, which I bumped up to macOS 13.6 Ventura. This computer was gifted to me by my family in order to replace an older iMac that died on me. The package also included a keyboard and mouse. I am totally happy with with this iMac, really pleased. I am a Software Engineer. I have always dealt with Windows Applications never developed and a complete newbie within the Apple ecosystem. I bought this Mac to start developing the problem is that it was not the right product for my needs. Not enough memory was the main issue. I tested with the rest of the Mac OS features like mail, facetime, everything worked like a charm. I felt in love with the product but I had to be realistic and made the decision to return it otherwise it would be collecting dust since I use my Windows laptop and iPhone to handle all that. Again, I intended to use this computer for development and it was not a good fit for me. I checked online see if I could upgrade the RAM. This specific model had no room for more RAM :( Read more

I purchased this computer last week and received in within a few days, great! I unboxed it and it was beautiful, great! Then I go to set it up and it has a configuration setting on it from whoever had the computer last. I couldn’t click past the setting to continue setting up the computer since the admin was not active. I contacted Amazon’s troubleshooting chat, and while they were nice, they could not help me. I then played detective to find the sellers number, only to find out they were closed for the day. In the mean time I spent all evening trying to figure out how to factory reset my computer. DO NOT DO THAT. Now my computer will only turn on and load to a blank screen. I contacted the seller again today, since they are supposed to be open, and I am still getting a voicemail saying they are closed. I’ve seen good reviews for this seller, and really bad ones. Take this as a sign to purchase from someone else who actually checks their products. Read more
