The citrus looks better in person than in photos. In person it looks more like lime than yellow. This is apple’s cheapest macbook yet it feels more premium than much more expensive laptops from other brands. Other than it being slightly smaller than the more expensive air, you may not really notice a difference in terms of the physical laptop. It is small though. Larger than an ipad but smaller than the air. Some people may like that, others may not. If you are planning on using it for complex tasks, this laptop may not be powerful enough but I have been using it for emails, browsing, and editing documents and didn’t notice any difference from my air. I cannot say enough good things about the Neo, right out of the box, so impressed with the build quality, the speakers are excellent for such a small form factor, I am blown away by the sound quality. And the price point is fantastic and comes at just the right time. This MacBook Neo is a really nice lightweight everyday laptop. It feels quick for normal browsing, streaming, email, and office-type work, and the screen looks sharp and bright. I like the thin design, Touch ID, and how simple it is to just open and use without fuss. The 512GB storage is a nice upgrade, though 8GB RAM may be limiting for heavier multitasking long term. I’ve been using the MacBook Neo for a little while now and I’m honestly really impressed with it. The A18 Pro chip feels fast for everything I do, web browsing, work apps, and even some light creative tasks, and everything runs smoothly. This MacBook is way more better than. I expected , coming from a MacBook Air. The computer is the perfect size. i feel like in stores and by comparison it might seem like a small option, but when it’s actually in your hands it’s PERFECT . Additionally, it can handle more than you think. As a graphic designer i needed to desperately upgrade my computer, this handled my editing well (photoshop 2026, camera raw) and can do several things at once. I was using adobe photoshop while sharing my screen while on a face time ( on the computer ) while playing music while doing homework while using siri and there was 0 issues at all. AMAZING. I was skeptical (very), that something with a phone processor and only 8 GB of memory could handle anything other than browsing the web with a few tabs open. I was very wrong.
