Apple iPod touch 32GB 5th Generation - Space Gray Renewed

So far it is exactly what I was hoping for. I purchased one in excellent condition. I did have to hard reset it with my windows PC, I expected that. The cable they sent did prompt my device with an MFI warning, I expected that, I am using a different cable. My AirPod Pro 2 do not work well with it, I expected that, I have other speakers and earbuds that work better than I expected. I am primarily using this with my purchased music library. I have always loved the iTunes interface and owing the music I listen to. The battery does drain faster when it is below 50%. The battery life is below my expectations currently, I keep the iPod in airplane mode and only use it for music. I have to charge it about every 2 to 3 days now, I let the battery full discharge and then charged it with a MFI cable. It seems to have improved the battery a lot. I only use lightning to USB A and never use lightning to USB C. I am going to continue to use and see what happens after, 2 months, and 3 months. Battery crapped out within three months of purchasing the device, now the iTouch is stuck on a "boot loop" and can't fully turn on even when plugged it to a charger. Looked into purchasing the replacement battery for $30 (including shipping), but the tear down of the device requires tools that I don't have and won't be investing in. So essentially this relatively brand new iTouch has become a paperweight. Would not recommend buying this model of iTouch and specifically not from these specific merchants. Read more

the only difference from my older iPod (when it was new), it takes a bit longer to recharge and hesitates a bit before it starts to play or continue to the next chapter of an audiobook but, looks new, performs perfectly so far and I think the sound is superior to my 6th gen. I received an upgraded version, no complaint there.. I think for the price the guarantee could be longer than 90 days.., but other reviews were so good it was worth the risk I've been looking at players for a year... not seeing anything that works as well as iPods for my use... playlists for exercise, dance, audiobooks and hands (eyes) free study... making a recording for materiel I need to memorize while doing other things yes, multi tasking will be the end of western civilization right now, listening to Na' auao while doing my taxes... I don't use bluetooth, I don't care if I can't download pay for play apps, it doesn't need a camera or to be able to start my car from miles away... it would be nice if it would do my tax paperwork... I wanted to be able to make playlists and listen audiobooks... on a dependable device, something that even the most expensive DAPs seem to fail at, at too high of a rate to make it worth buying and this, does that perfectly I wish I could send my sixth gen in to be rebuilt but, might be cheaper to just purchase another one of these burning sage hoping apple execs realize, we don't all want to carry a $1,500 brick around to listen to music... iPod sales dropped when apple duplicated iPhone features on it and doubled the price I've read months of reviews (mostly paid advertising) and message boards of people looking for a replacement for their iPod... I wonder if they didn't understand that we were not buying them every year, because...they continued to work, each of mine lasted at least five years and I play them daily, I use them for study... the next company who comes up with an iPod replacement, will make a fortune I suggested it to LG who are said to have the best sound in smartphone land... in the mean time thank you amazon-renewed... you delivered!!! I bought this iPod due to the fact my old one doesn't anymore. In fact the one which is gone lasted for me for years. This one didn't last a few months and already problems are coming. First the positive, it's a real iPod and I'm glad it is. It does connect to iTunes and you can get your music, videos or any other things you can put in here. Sound quality is pretty good and it comes in great condition with little to no scratches so I am grateful of it. Now the negative, the battery life is terrible. I dies very quickly and I lower the brightness to see if it makes any difference but nothing changes. As of today, I can't charge it and I try doing a factory reset with it and a update but nothing is happening and it only shows the iTunes icon with the charger. It's not worth the price it's asking for because you expect not many problems with it. Yes I know it is renewed but this is not good. If this problems didn't happened, I would've give it a better score but it is not. Read more

It's an ipod, and it runs well. I use if for the study in the house, and if you've had Ipods you know, The price is right, and buying a reworked one is just fine the battery may not last long, but I Keep it plugged in, and its fine. it Links with the LG360 sound bar perfectly. so when I want the music to be party level, I push the play button and step back.
