Had an old, like 15 years old, USB male speaker that I wanted to use with an iPhone 13. Got this two pack at a very good price and is working great with my phone. It seems to use quite a bit of my battery, and sometimes the speaker doesn't recognize when plugged into the phone, but unplugging and plugging the device back to my phone gets it going again. I'm afraid the lighting male portion is not too sturdy, as when my phone lays flat it seems to tilt down on that portion so I hope it does not break off? Well, I guess that's why there's two! I bought this adapter to connect a Samson Go Mic that has a cable terminating in a USB A male connector to my Iphone 14 that has a female lightning input port. When the cable and adapter are connected the green led on the mic indicates that the mic is active, and when record a video I get very nice quality audio track, but the track is interrupted by frequent skips. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting several times. The lightning port on my phone is clean and works for other audio inputs without the adapter. The same skips occur when recording voice memos. So, this adapter seems not to be compatible with audio recording. Read more

Needed an adapter that plugged into my Ipad, so I can connect a portable scanner for work use. These are compact and feel sturdy. Quality appears to be solid. But...as good as these appear to be, for me, there is one big con. I carry my Ipad Pro in a protective sleeve/case that is fitted. All the ports are exposed for use but due to the slight bulk of the body of these, it doesn't "snap" into the lightning port, due to the Ipad's case. So my scanner could not work with my Ipad. When I took my Ipad out of the case and port was exposed, this worked and fit nicely. But I didn't want to have to remove my Ipad from its sleeve protection each time I wanted to use this adapter. So for me, this was a no-go. I did find an adapter that the male lightning is part of a braided extension cord, that woks fine with my Ipad in its case. Read more
