This is a very good towel that has followed us on a number of mountain biking and beach trips. It dries quickly, packs very compactly, and washes well. it still looks basically new. I've had a similar towel that retained smells. I don't know if that's common, but this one does not retain smells. Overall, this is great. I recommend it. Read more

After using this towel several times, I have to say that I'm very impressed wth the absorbancy and overall perofrmance of the product. Over the years, I have seen competitive swimmers and divers use quick drying towels at their events and had always been curious as to what they were made of and if they actually worked. I can attest, this microfiber towel works exceptionally well. Although it is thin and lightweight it, is very absorbant and unlike a tradtional bath towel, it does not get significantly heavier as you dry off. I believe the towel I received was the smaller of the two sizes they offer, (24"X40") it is more then enough to completely dry my 6' body. Impressions: This towel would be great for seniors, kids, pool, beach, camping and several other uses. Although I haven't tried it yet so I can't speak from experience, I also think it would be a great towel to use at the beach or after bathing your pet. The towel has no "nap" so sand and pet hair should not be much of an issue to eliminate, just "snap" the towel and go. Additionally, the towel is compact and not bulky, perfect for packing and traveling. This towel is perfect to keep in a gym bag, or in your car for those times you need to dry off but want something in a compact package. This towel folded and packed in its storage bag takes up hardly any room, yet when unfolded to its 24"x40" size, it works effectively had wiping away sweat, rain, etc. I keep this in my car and it already proved useful one day when my daughter got caught in some rain coming out to the car when I was picking her up. I pulled this towel out and she used it to dry off her arms and hair. The microfibre material is very soft and is ultra absorbent considering how light and handy it is. I recently took this microfiber towel with me on a camping trip. I do like a good plush towel nut I wanted to have something more compact to haul between my campsite and the shower house. The folded size made it easy to carry in my tote with my change of clothes and shower supplies. I was impressed with the size and the absorbency. This AqtivAqua quick-dry microfiber towel is perfectly usable as a camping or swimming pool towel, but it really has endless uses beyond that. Because of it's small size when rolled up or folded and its light weight, I like to keep one in the car just to be available when I need to dry something. Most recently, I needed something to dry off a pair of inflatable standup paddle boards before rolling them up for storage. (They can get mildewy if put away without drying first. Often there are handles or pads that still hold some water, so I still take them out and let the air dry at home.) I found this towel to be great for that task and also for drying off the two paddle boarders as well. Afterward it dried quickly to be stored for its next use. While any standard towel could be used for these same purposes, the great thing about this type is that once it has absorbed a bunch of water, it is easy to wring it out to a point of being able to soak up almost the same amount of water again, unlike a cotton towel that will still hold a lot of water when wrung out.
