The material was better than I expected. It is quite heavy with good elasticity, similar to Magic suit materials. I was very pleased when I saw that. After trying it one, it looked really cute and I was quite pleased with my affordable find with this swim bottom. However, when it came time to actually wear it in the pool, the legs bunched up with had me constantly trying to pull the legs down. Also the pants themselves seem to not have as much shape to them as in a cheep quick design. After I got back from the pool and was able to really take a closer look at how they were made, I discovered that the bottoms of the short legs had a thin piece of elastic around the bottom leg seam and the leg wasn't the same elastic material as the rest of the suit. Also, that wide band around the waist is just another attached piece of material with another thin piece of elastic running around the top. Basically, they are a cheap product that looks really cute. Looks like I am going back to Magic Suit where I know the quality is worth the money. Would I recommend them?.... for kids yes but for adults, no as I think they expect more as did I Read more

This is my wife's review: I bought this very nice swim skirt in a medium. I am 5'5" 130-135 pounds. It fits very well and is the perfect length. The fabric is nice quality and hangs down in a flattering way. Some others I have tried are too wide or puffy looking in the hips, but this one is straighter which I prefer. The attached shorts underneath are comfortable as well. I also love the slight slit on the side. Give this one a try! Read more

I originally bought this in red in an XL which is my normal size at 5’5” and 185#. However, as you can see in my photos, it was too small. I liked it enough, though, to go back and order two more, one in white and one in navy, this time in an XXL. Though you can see in my photo of the white one that it still pulls a bit over my poofy abdomen, it’s better than the red one. Still, it’s a nice swim skort and the slit in the side makes it different than others I own. I took off a star because it doesn’t have pockets which is a bummer. Everything though have pockets these days, even if just in the shorts underneath the skirt. Read more
