Worked very well to remove all my neocaridina shrimp from there tank, for tank clean up. Even removed the babies safely. You do need to pay special care when using it- but that willbe with anyone you order. Much better for shrimp than a regular fish net. Read more

This is the perfect size shrimp tank net. The net is actually stiff so it keeps its shape under water and dislodging shrimp from the net is much easier. The net end is a little flimsy and easily bent so be gentle with it when trying to close after extending. Read more

MAJOR EDIT! This is NOT perfect for DAPHNIA or BRINE SHRIMP, It does catch most newly hatched brine shrimp, but not 100%. For four bucks and some change, this isn't a bad deal. (I was skeptical about it rusting... It's now 7 months later, and no rust.) This net extends to a shocking length and converts back to its short original state. Making it perfect for a deep or shallow tank or container. The net is smaller than I thought, but that's a good thing because it will do well for the tiny containers I will use for my Daphnia Cultures. (LOL that culture didn't last long.) I really like how small it is, and I like that the handle retracts, but the mesh is very stiff, like a cup, so it’s harder to catch a fish, Also the mesh is glued together not sewn, so the glue has separated on the bottom. Read more
