Works great- Need New Filter Indicator System
It's a very attractive pitcher. It seems to be well made and we were able to actually see it was working on the calcium in our water. Whenever we boiled tap water in our pot you could actually see the white sediment in the water and it would be hard to clean. Using this pitcher we boiled it to test it and there was a significant reduction in sediment. I would say it removed 99% of it so we were impressed with the filtration. The filter change indicator gauge on the lid is not extremely helpful as it reacts to the opening of the lid so I don't know how accurate it is for us as we mainly use it for our coffee maker. We just keep track and change it when we start to see some of the charcoal coming out. Other than that we are very happy with it. Read more
Easy to use water pitcher
This water filter is easily to change and add water for a refreshing drink each time ! The filters successfully make the water taste great plus the pitcher is easy to wash, change filter and refill ! The indicator is fairly ok. My filter lasts around 2 months - my taste preference. Read more
THE best
The design is what makes this outstanding. With the weight at the bottom it is easier to pour. I assume the 'standard industry' style is because one manufacturer made a name for themself with the style, but that old style is much top heavier. I was replacing a Kirkland brand, which they don't seem to have anymore, because the lid would no longer securely stay on, and I can use up my Kirkland filters. I had ordered the Amazon brand one in the 'old style' and it was so thin and flimsy. This is not, and is worth the additional money. Read more
Works Like Brita But Cheaper
I live in semi-rural area with hard yucky water. The filter makes water taste so much better that I started drinking more. The pitcher has a lovely silhouette. Read more
Easy and lightweight
I love this pitcher. I’ve been using an old Britta for years and I needed a second one. This was a good buy and I am very happy with it. It is compact for its 12 cups and filters very fast. My favorite thing is how light it is an easy to fill. Filters are also easy to find and inexpensive. Overall, I would buy this again andI like it better than my Britta. Read more
