I love how this looks and its overall functionality! I bought it to keep my tank clean when I add food to my tank since I have a low maintenance tank set-up. The quality was better than expected but my shrimp got stuck in the bowl and in the shaft of the feeding dish. They were able to get out but required them to keep trying for up to several minutes at a time. I have a 5 gallon tank and the size seemed to take up quite a bit of space in my tank, especially because I have several plants and wood in there. I liked the product but I do think that it would be better fit for fish instead. Read more

Looks like cheap plastic and it probably is but it works great. I picked up 2 of them to use in a 75 gallon take so I would have a place to feed the frogs and not the fish. Once it is in the tank it looks much better and the frogs use it to eat and climb up it to chill out for the day. I did have to use a section out of the 2nd unit to make it work but then I took the remaining pieces and set that one up in the opposite corner to drop down algae tables for my catfish, pandoras and other algae eaters. This brings the food right down where I want it rather than getting caught up floating all over. Read more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Bought this to feed our African dwarf frogs. They figured it out really quick. Now when they want to be fed we find them in the little tray. Putting their food in the drop tube keeps the food from going all over the tank and makes it easier for them to find it Read more

I believe this is a very functional item for feeding my fish and African Dwarf Frog. However it proved to be too large for a 2 gallon aquarium, but I am planning to make use of it in a larger one later on. It’s a good idea and value for the money. The media could not be loaded. Easy to install, looks great in tank. I have used this for pellets, flakes, and bloodworms for my 5 danios. It is the perfect tool to prevent extra food waste in tank! I have this installed on a 10 gallon tank. Food floats easily down into tray from top. If any food gets stuck, kit comes with a cleaner straw to push all food down into tube. My fish love this feeding tool! They go straight to it. If you have tiny tiny baby fish be careful bc they go through the tub and if they’re fat they get stuck haha you can add something to block them from going up! Read more

The media could not be loaded. I like that it goes in the scoop at the bottom vs straight to the bottom. I do wish there was a way that the fish going and eating out of it didn’t cause the food to stir up and then float out of the feeder. Read more
