I got this to feed cherry shrimp but the dwarf rasboras ended up claiming it! They gather underneath and in the dish, as well as eating from it. I guess it's more interesting than all the live plants. I like the acrylic so if it comes loose, no worries about glass breaking in the tank. Sides are high enough to keep the food inside, even with fish eating from it. I guess it makes a good place for tiny fish to congregate as well, though probably not what it's intended for. Update: I have a betta with vision problems and decided to try this out in his tank to see if he could learn to eat from it. He did, and he also decided it's the perfect shape and size to rest in. Is your fish helplessly dumb? Constantly misses their food, which falls into their rock and then looks up at you sad and starving? So you fed it again and it misses the food AGAIN!?
