They weren't joking when they said this is a 5 star product! The shrimp absolutely went crazy over it, especially when compared to other foods that we offered in the past that they were indifferent to. Within about 10 minutes the shrimp were swarming it. My snail’s shells look much darker and healthier. Thankfully! I had tried all the other suggestions like the crushed coral and it wasn’t doing any good. These worked immediately. My fish even nipped at it. Looked like he did a line of cocaine actually. Read more
I ordered these as a calcium supplement for our mystery snails, intrigued that they offered more nutrition, and was pleasantly surprised to see them arrive with a nice sample of this company’s other products; specifically their 12 type pellet mix and 4 type wafer mix. We put the calcium feeder in the tank and one of our mystery snails literally made a beeline for it and parked himself on top of it for a good 5 minutes, as our corys also swarmed and tried to take a nibble as the snail actually flicked them away. Then we dropped some of the pellets and wafers in and all the fish went nuts for it immediately. The same mystery snail then hopped off (as another arrived to hop on) the calcium feeder, grabbed one of the wafers and curled himself up snacking on it as he held it. I attached a photo. We’ve never seen behavior like this for food before so I wanted to leave a review right away. That particular snail is normally lazy as can be. It was really amazing to watch.
